This should be zero stars. I have been trying to rent a wheelchair for my mom since last week. They take your name and number and a salesman will get back to you ..............which they never do. Everytime I phone, "I will get a salesman to phone you". That's not service.
I just want to put it out there for anyone considering to get Oneplan Pet Insurance. One does not always understand the full benefit or disadvantage of Pet Insurance until you have experienced it. Although having your pet's teeth cleaned at the vet is necessary to combat disease and helps with pet wellness, Oneplan only covers up to R750 per pet per annum. (So my vet (and maybe I am going to the wrong vet) charges R2500 per pet for teeth cleaning. I have 2 pets, both insured with Oneplan. But note that from the R750 per annum you also need to cover their vaccinations which already costs anything from R500 - R650. So you are left with about R100 of the R2500 to claim for cleaning their teeth. I am totally willing to pay my share of the R2500. I only asked Oneplan if they could cover a portion of it under the Casualty benefit of R1300. They refused. So I do not want a reply on this review from Oneplan as I have enough emails that refers me to my policy document and telling me that they have my "fur-babies best interest at heart". I just want the everyone to know that Oneplan is very helpful, considerate and efficient in signing you up for a policy. And that is all that they are considerate about. I have also been under the impression the policy is supposed to cover accidents, but my greatest fear is that, one day if I should claim because my dog got injured in whatever accident/insident, Oneplan will reject my claim and maybe just pay the minimum R1300 casualty benefit. And we know that once a dog needs to go for scans and Xrays, that bill can be anything from R5000 and more. I saw a review of a lady dated 12 January 2023 (yesterday) on HelloPeter and that review gives me cause for concern. So why am I paying Oneplan more than R700 a month for my fur-babies. I don't know....
