My experience with Jordaan Attorneys has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The original conveyancing documents were signed in May, but by 10 June 2025, I was informed that my documents had been lost by Ms. Webb, Mr. du Plessis, and Jordaan. I had to redo and re-sign everything, which caused unnecessary delays. On 30 June 2025, R100,000 was to be held back for repairs, yet the registration went ahead without the repairs being completed. Additionally, on 3 July 2025, Odette Strydom omitted the COR14.1 form that still needed to be signed. All of this caused significant delays in the registration process, leaving me unable to take proper occupation and facing unresolved repairs. Their lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable.
I have never experienced such poor and unprofessional service in a property transaction. Despite repeated follow-ups on my part, the R100,000 held back for repairs (as instructed on 27 May 2025) has still not been addressed, even after registration. On 17 June, I was assured that Nico was following up with Jordaan Attorneys to reach an agreement, but I am still waiting for feedback. The final registration documents were only signed on 3 July due to the attorneys’ incompetence, and at no point did Howell Properties or its principal, Nico, step in to protect my interests. This lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable. I have referred the matter to the PPRA and will continue to pursue resolution.
We are currently accredited by the ETDP SETA for the following courses: Train the Trainer, Assessor and Moderator. This mean that all courses presented by us needs to be externally moderated by the ETDP SETA to confirm correctness of the course outlines , facilitation and Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) of learners. After such a moderation all learners receive a Statement of Result (SOR) and we can only then issue them with certificates as we also then receive the endor*****t numbers to be provided on the certificate. So, in a nutshell we can not issue any certificates before the statement of result is issued. We conducted these training since January 2022 whereby the PoE’s needed to be moderated by ETDP SETA. In July 2022 we were informed that the busy with a new portal and that we can not load any learners on their system. 25 July 2022 ETDP SETA had a teams training session with all SDP’s (Skills Development Professionals) but we were informed that the portal is still not in working conditions. In October 2022 Alpha Educational Services issue some competence letters (some provided as proof) to the learners as some of them were waiting for the SOR’s as proof to provide for new job opportunities. In January 2023 we received a mail from one of our clients with the ETDP SETA communication letter 09 December 2022. This was sent to all SDP’s but did not receive any correspondence from the ETDP SETA. After numerous correspondence with the ETDP SETA requesting assistance in this matter and no reply Lucy did report them at DHET (Department of Higher Education and Training). They then came on site and did the external moderation on 16 February 2023 and also provide us with the external moderation report. Linda was on site and then said we will receive the SOR’s shortly. At this stage some of the private learners start threatening us with legal action. They then send us Competence letters on 05 March 2023 for learners stating “The validity period of this Competency Confirmation Letter is six months from the date of issue and to confirm its authenticity, please send your request by email message to the ETDP SETA provincial office closer to you.” As from then we keep on requesting information or confirmation when SOR’s will be received. I spoke to Linda on 11 July 2023 and was informed that they are currently busy capturing all the batches and we are in a que and will receive by end of August 2023. I did send mail again on 23 August 2023 informing them that I still did not receive any confirmation and that the learner’s competence letters expire 28 August 2023. We have WhatsApp groups with the learners as proof how many times we updated them with the ETDP promises. This did our reputation grate harm and we currently face loosing clients like Impala Platinum and Royal Ba***eng Platinum. Some learners also informed us that they know of people that received their SOR’s and certificats and therefore think that we are lying to them.
My son was involved in a car accident of the 1st of April 2023 and the claim to date has not been finalised. I have never seen such incompetence and poor customer service in my life before!!!!!!!! Be warned do not use Old Mutual Elite Insurance you will be sorry!!!
We have conducted numerous training interventions and the learners therefore cannot receive their statement of results. We as a training provider are being threatened with lawsuit in this regard. Their portal has been downs since July 2022 and in addition we have not received correspondence in this regard (they send to selected service providers) In addition they are rude
