Do not trust Relocation masters. Initially when obtaining the quote Blessing was friendly, professional and supportive. I was quoted for a dedicated truck with an overnight move. I asked him to arrange for an inventory to be done as I was sure that there would be extra items, but he informed me that it did not matter since I was getting a dedicated truck and that I would not be charged for extra items. Once I paid the deposit, Blessing became unresponsive, I had to send him multiple emails and WhatsApp messages just to confirm the date of the move in the 2 weeks prior to the actual agreed upon date of the move. On the morning the truck was supposed to arrive(which both me and my wife took off from work to deal with the move) he sent an email to out work email addresses to inform us that the truck broke down and that the move would only be able to take place on the next day, he did not even have the decency to call or WhatsApp me to inform me, if I did not incidentally look at my work emails on the day, I would not have known of the delay, and, when I realized what was going on, I tried calling him the whole day without any success. Finally on the next day a truck came to pick up the furniture(after my wife had to put in an extra day leave to be there for the move) and, the movers refused to load anything that was not on the inventory I initially sent to blessing(Which he had assured me would not be an issue) after multiple attempts at calling him he finally responded and arranged for the people to load everything on the truck. Once the truck was loaded, and, had left my house, he sent me a WhatsApp to tell me that I needed to pay him an additional R13 000 for the move as well as R3500 to wrap my furniture. After an extended argument over WhatsApp, I was finally forced to pay an additional R11 000 to have my furniture delivered. as if this was not bad enough, he told me that he was waiting for my deposit to clear through the bank to enable him to give the truck driver money for Diesel to deliver my furniture, which resulted in my furniture only being delivered 4 days later. Also, at some stage my furniture was unpacked from the truck that loaded it in Gauteng and packed into another truck which finally delivered it in Mossel Bay. In this truck there was also somebody else's furniture which still had to be delivered after mine was unloaded, which they unpacked and left in the rain while they were busy unloading my furniture In short, I was quoted for a dedicated truck with an overnight move where there would be discount if an additional load could be secured. What I received was a joint move that took 4 days longer to deliver than promised and costing me an additional R11 000 from the quoted price with all my furniture having bright blue stickers on that I am struggling to remove without damaging my furniture, not to mention the damage to my furniture caused by the move, which Blessing is not responding to me on. To add insult to injury, potted plants to the value of approximately R18 000 have still not been delivered to me am month and a half later, and, Blessing is ignoring me like a stop street. I asked him nicely to tell me when I can expect my plants, I asked him firmly to respond, I informed him that I am holding him financially accountable for my plants, I threatened him with legal action, but, his was still ignoring me, so, I opened a case of theft against him at the SAPS, and even that does not seem to get any response from him, as, he promised the detective investigating the case that he would get back to me with an update on when my plants would be delivered, which he never did. The law must now take its course. Also do not be fooled by the pretty pictures of the orange and blue trucks on the website, I never saw one, in stead there were 2 white trucks involved one of which was quite poorly maintained, and there were at least 2 other moving companies involved, a "Careful Movers" and an "Excuus Movers"
