Yesterday I flew Airlink from Johannesburg to Kenya, to my surprise I was not aware of the 20kgs (for one bag) baggage allowance because almost all the international flights have from 23-30kgs for two bags. The excess is ridiculously expensive and travellers would opt to avoid it at all costs. Also, I had a big issue with African lady at the boarding gates (i.e gate A25 flight; 4Z070), she had such an intolerable mean attitude towards black customers, I watched her treating two men in front of me with so much disdain while checking their ETAs and passports including myself; she didn’t even greet me back and continued to dismiss me as if I was not there. My associate in Kenya also complained about this same girl when I told him about my flight experience, it’s sickening to even think about it, no one deserves to be treated with so much disgust for mere choosing to fly Airlink. Also I hope Airlink does not hire Zimbabweans because of cheap labour, should I find this to be true, I will report Airlink to the labour officials. The experience I had yesterday was not to be taken lightly at all, I am one person who does not complain much but this particular treatment made be really annoyed and It must dealt with urgently.
I paid R1000 including R99 for their special as advertised on instagram and they keep promising to deliver, it’s a SCAM and It seems the business does not exist.
It’s almost a month since I have placed my order and they keep on saying they are having a backlog which they are LYING and are a SCAM, it is a FAKE COMPANY!!!
