Like everybody else, a horrible experience. I’m trying to transfer my tickets from the account website to my ‘phone, using the app. My app is Uk, no SA in the drop down, no tickets shown as purchased on the app. I try to transfer, it will not accept the transfer to the same email address yet, once sent to another email address, it says it cannot be processed because it’s not the same address! I had to go to the stadium for Robbie Williams to get hard tickets, that was fun, trying to get bin with those. Same problem here. The staff in the mobile office said the app needs re designing for SA, not **** Sherlock!! Went to see Ndlovu Choir the other day, a TM event, no need to transfer to an app, print off, show the ticket.. enjoy. Why are they making it so difficult and inconvenient for what only appears to be for their benefit. *******!
I truly believe this company, which advertised on Instagram, is a *******. I ordered one hat online, I received an email confirming that purchase after which two amounts were taken from my credit card and I received a second email saying I’d bought two, which was categorically not the case, why buy two hats the same? Since then, my emails of complaint have been handled by “Emma” who behaves like a bot, refusing to address my demand for a refund of one hat, for them to collect the hat charged for and sent in error. She/it, only offers a discount on the second unwanted hat and says it’s my responsibility to return and am I not aware of the cost to the environment of returning. This has been going on for weeks, not one email specifically addressed. Based upon my experience, you would be a fool to buy anything from them as they can access your card details and make charges that bear no resemblance to the order.
Im so fed up with Discovery Bank and their ability to handle complaints, queries or requests for information. The customer service agents have to refer everything at which point the chain is broken and nothing happens. I opened a 32 dayNotice Savings Account using the app to deposit and give notice. Some interest turned up within 5 days but, nothing subsequently. The money was returned to another account, which I requested, after 32 days yet, the interest paid is the equivalent of 0.12%, not the 7.35 advertised. No amount od calls, escalations, failed return calls emails... a complete black hope lacking responsibility, accountability and transparency. How difficult can it be to look at an advertised product which is clearly not working, yet, nobody has an explanation. Utter pants and, with another account in the process of maturing, zero confidence in maintaining funds with Discovery. They should concentrate less on gimmicks, like upgrading Active Rewards, and spend their time being a bank that performs basic functions, like savings accounts! I look forward to hearing of other users and how they escalated matters to get a solution.
