CALLED THER JOHANNESBURG BRANCH WHAT A WASTE OF TIME TO HIRE FROM THESE GUYS. REQUESTED TO HIRE A SMALL ITEM AND ASKED ABOUT FORMALITY REQUIREMENTS WITH A WHATSAPP AGENT 0721104236 . THEY REQUIREMENTS ARE ID DOCUMENTATION WHICH IS REASONABLE FOR ANY COMPANY AND YOUR PROOF OF ADDRESS WOULD HAVE TO BE STRICTLY A WATER BILL OR LIGHTS ACCOUNT . SO I EXPLAINED THE AGENT I HAVE A WOOLIES ACCOUNT NOT EVERBODY HAS A MUNICIPAL BILL ON THERE NAME . THE AGENT WITH NO INTEREST AT ALL DONT CARE ATTITUDE SAYS SORRY WE CONNOT ASSIST YOU. HOW RIDICULOUS IS THIS REQUIREMENT . YEAH SURE ITS RISKY BUSINESS UNDERTOOD BUT THERE ARE OTHER HIRING COMPANIES THAT DONT MAKE YOUR LIFE AS DIFFICULT AND STILL TAKE PRECAUTIONS. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAS MUNICIPAL BILLS ON THERE NAMES NOT EVERYONE.
Once again placed an order and was approved but they still having system issues my order is still sitting with connect Admin department to complete. Never had an issue ordering before. They put me through Digital planet and digital planet had to escalate the order to be finalized. REF: FNB230621AEED0
I have been a long time customer of FNB and only experiencing issues recently. I have app**** for a Connect device twice before with no issues only my most recent connect package had been giving me issues . App**** as usual got approved with an sms later phoned to checkup on my order the department has no idea what's going . I AM ONLY BEING TOLD THAT THE ORDER IS INCOMPLETE AND THAT I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THERE ADMIN DEPARTMENT TO FINALISE THE ORDER AS THEY MENTIONED IT CAME UP AS MULTIPLE ORDER, I Explained to the consultant that I had only ordered once and I am not sure why it is picking up as multiple orders as I have only one reference number as proof that my order was successful as per sms recieved ref: FNB230609B38EF. 3 Days have past and they still could not complete my order for delivery as digital planet is still awaiting there Authorization. When I called on the same day they advised there systems were updating around the same time as I placed my order and that it could be a system issues which they are busy sorting my order with admin. I was also told that it will take 24 to 48hrs to complete but it has now been 3 days getting the same update reason. I really don't understand why my Package it taking that long to finalize when I usually get an sms immediately few hours later from the courier department that my package is out for delivery. IF A PRODUCT IS APPROVED AND SUCCESSFUL WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT FOR THEM TO FINILSE MY ORDER. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS
I have been an ABSA client for some time now great service at certain departments. However the home loan department has been giving me issues they had rejected my bond and I accepted this. However the bond originator had requested for Absa to review the deal with a higher deposit so I advised Absa that I am no longer interested in the bond and that it should be withdrawn as it's now an active application. I Tried calling the home loan depart to withdraw this application as I'm no longer interested and that they need to provide me with a withdrawal template. The home loan department refuse to withdraw the loan and advised that I should contact the bond originator However I did contact the bond originator and advised that I will not be interested in a bond were I had to pay a deposit and he advised that it will be canceled Automatically and that he had advised absa to withdraw However I am still awaiting for ABSA HOME LOAN to withdraw the bond as I am a loyal Absa client and will look at a home loan at a later stage. THE HOME LOAN IS STILL ACTIVE AND IS EFFECTING OTHER APPLICATIONS WITH ABSA AND THE HOME LOAN DEPARTMENT STILL HAS NOT YET WITHDRAWN MY APPLICATION. I HERBY REQUEST THE ABSA SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM THAT THEY WILL ASSIST IN GETTING A CONFIRMATION OF THE BOND WITHDRAWAL. Why is it so difficult to withdraw my bond seeing that there interest rate has come up again and its client privilege to accept or refuse home loan offers or Applications for the matter. THESE BOND ORIGINATORS DON'T CARE AND WE AS CLIENTS MUST BE FORCED TO WAIT FOR AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED. RIDICULOUS
This is the worst bank to deal with . I had a high chance to get a credit card approved all I need to do was provide my income with expenses. Little did I know that they app had calculated my income in correct that is not in line with my net pay on my bank statements and secondly they calculated all my expenses incorrectly not totalling up according to there data. The information they provided was incorrect and my scoring is above average which is good status. Never will I recommend any consumer to approach discovery they are all upto nonsense
I am not sure why I have to keep making a review on social media to get Absa attention. This time regarding an overdraft application done 2 weeks ago . Absa themselves kept emailing me regarding an offer which is an overdraft facility all I needed to do was to go onto my app and see what I qualify for . However I had done so and they qualified me for an amount which I accepted once again pending income verification because I bank with FNB and trying to move over to ABSA I had sent my 3 months all documents that was requested by them . The app had issues so I could not load them however a consultant assisted by giving me an email address so I sent the documents through and got a ref: 26341993 . Email stated consultant will provide feedback as soon as possible. However 2 weeks past no one has contacted be regarding my application. I am not sure how am I suppose to move over completely to absa if they keep customers on hold for that long just for an outcome. I received another email 2 days ago stating a consultant will call regarding my overdraft so not really sure what's going on when Absa had infact offered me this facility pending documentation verification. I trust that at some stage the complaints department always gets to the bottom of things
I purchased a car with AVAF and my debit order was running out of the 25th of every month. I Requested my debit order to be moved to the 10 May 2023. I RECIEVED EMAIL STATING THE CHANGE WAS SUCCESSFUL WITH REF:C-25930393 However the information provided by AVAF was false and incorrect the debit had instead come out 26th April 2023. This is absolutely ridiculous coming from ABSA . Misleading clients . Now I have to put a request for my next debit or to come off in 10th June 2023. These people are ridiculous and don't care . An actual email from there department came in stating successful change from the 25th April to the 10th May. Absa is very unprofessional
I app**** for a credit card with absa . I bank with FNB and because i was given a vehicle finance with absa so I recently thought I could move over to absa one time . So app**** for a credit card 7 days back I was provisionally approved a credit card and I was told to summit all necessary documentation for income verification process after sending the email I get confirmation that they have received all documentation and that it should not take long only for Income verification . Its now past a week not a word from the credit card department as to how far my application is what so ever. How long does it take to simply verify Income in order to provide a final approval. Now I have been thinking all over again weather or not I should fully move over to absa as my full time banker.
