Avoid Buzybuy - bad or non-existent customer service
I had a very basic website hosting package with Buzybuy for a number of years, which basically required nothing from them except the yearly billing, so no complaints there. In August 2023 they billed me again for 12 months ahead, without telling me that they will be going over to new servers only 2 months later, which would increase the amount I pay per year by just under 1000%! They sent me forms to sign to agree to the new fees 1 month before it would go into effect from November 2023. I told Dale that I have a very basic website and won't pay that, and eventually decided to move over to another cost-effective service provider, and asked for a refund for the 10 months left I had paid up front on the previous servers and fees. No response to numerous emails. When I called into their service center they just said they will have to talk to Dale and get back to me, which never happened. Until I threatened them going to HelloPeter on email, then Dale responded within hours. I moved over to the new hosting company, but still haven't received the refund, and emails enquiring about this gets ignored. I assume they either intend NOT to refund me as they said they would, or Dale is too busy to give proper customer service. Either way it might be good to avoid Buzybuy. I will making a case against them at the Consumer Ombud of South Africa next.

Avoid Snatcher.co.za if at all possible
Don't use Snatcher if you can avoid it. If there's a chance that you might need to return and get refunded an item there's a big chance you won't get your money. I still haven't been refunded after a month, due to a supposed "backlog". Ridiculous! They also tend to sell you items that are wrong or out of stock, and then it's the biggest mission on earth to get your money back. If you check their Facebook page you'll see there's people who waited for months and then gave up on the refund. Something should be done against them as this constitutes ***** masquerading as bad customer service.

Snatcher Experience
Firstly, Snatcher is not Takealot, it is worse and it is better. Pros: you can buy a lot of different items from them at probably the best prices you'll find. I've made three orders from them and received the items as ordered. Cons: 1. Their customer service is really slow. Sometimes you can wait almost a week for them to reply to an email you send, and there's no phone number to contact them. 2. Their orders take quite long to be delivered, much longer than Takealot. Summary: if you are looking for something at the best price and don't mind waiting and slow customer service, then Snatcher is the best option. If quick delivery and good customer service is your priority above price, then Takealot would be best.
