I am a pensioner trying to follow up on authorisation for a medical procedure, which was requested on 19 March 2026. Procedure was scheduled for 26 March, but was cancelled today because nothing was received from Gems. Followed up today, 25 March telephonically. After 40 minutes waiting to speak to a person, i put call down. Phoned again and it has been another 30 minutes after I was put on hold by agent. So already spend 70 minutes voice data and still have not received any service from Gems!
Woolworth Waterstone flagship store, but worst managed! This morning their system had problems with accepting payments from certain banks. When entering the store they in form you which banks are nit accepted. Did all my shopping, was send to a till that only accept cards. Two different bank cards and the Woolworths card was declined. Manager was called and she just said system is off line and walked away. Had to leave all the shopping there. Surely management should rather close the store when their systems are down! Shame on you Woolworths Waterstone!

Just bought my first item on Amazon.co.za ( new South Africa service). The item i bought is advertised as” battery and charger included” Lol and behold when i unpacked the box, the manufacturer box says “ no battery included” Shame on you Amazon South Africa for false advertising!!!
Recently upgrade cellphone contract online with Istore. Received confirmation that contract has been approved and upgraded and that handset hand been delivered to courier for delivery with in 3 working days and tracking number was provided. After 3 working days tracking system of courier company still showed tracking number unknown. I tried to follow up telephonically. I made 9 calls, held on more than 60 min in total. Finlay spoke to online manager who said he would phone me back, never did. I phoned again and he said he exulted matter and will receive same day delivery before 17h30. He would phone late afternoon to follow up whether i received delivery. Needless to say, i did not receive delivery and nor did the online manager phone me. I phone again to be told he left. Followed up again today. Phone was put down twice by online person responding to my call after i told them my dilemma. The third person i spoke to provided me with an email address to lodge an complaint. I now sit with an updated contract, without a hand set, without any way forward as management of the online service have no customer care manners, lie to customer and dont phone back. In addition i was given free insurance, which should be activated within 7 days, which i now cant activate or use as i did not receive a hand set in time even though Istore committed to a 3 work day delivery. And i am still in the dark as to how situation will be resolved.
