The worsed customer service ever. Musa the branch manager told us Tembisa branch is closed on Saturday after we hv called and asked if we can be assisted on Saturday for funeral arrangements. He advised that we arrive 8am on Monday 29 Dec 2025. We arrived as agreed only for them to open 9:15am. Worse part is my uncle passed on 24th Dec 2025 and they want to bury him 3rd January 2026. Utter disrespect to the family. Have never been so disappointed. No empathy or sympathy at all. We are now begging for them to bury my uncle earlier and with no conscious we are told "NO".
Funeral claims are suppose to be paid before the funeral takes place. My mother lost her sister on the 8th of January, same week my mom went to two mountain Germiston to put on her claim. claim was processed and approved on the 13 January 2023 but to date my mom received nothing. It serves no purpose to have a funeral insurance that does not make payments on time as that money is for burial. Poor service from their customer care
