a sales consultant by the of Portia from FNB came to my workplace and I have opened a savings account which to my surprise I found that I was owing FNB for a cheque account. I have paid the amount of R3140.22 via LWM which FNB handed me over to. i would like to claim my money back because I was told I cannot close the account before paying. I have now paid but their debt company has not helped me with a paid up letter and I checked with FNB they saying they only received 1 payment. I would like FNB to investigate the consultant that opened this account for me.
In 2023 there was an FNB consultant at my work place and I have asked her to open a savings account for me but she opened a cheque account which I ended up owing not knowing how it works because I was under the impression that is was a savings account. FNB handed me over to LWN which I made an arrangement of paying 2 installments and sent them both proof of payments but they are now enable to help me with a paid up letter. I have sent them emails and chatting to 1 of their consultant via whatsapp and he is also not helping. I have checked with FNB if LWN has sent them the paid up letters only 1 payment reflects on FNB side.
There's a ***** committed under my account profile at ABSA, I contacted SAFPS and they referred me to ABSA ***** department and Godfrey TM Mncube (Specialist Card ***** Investigator) was assigned to my case. He did the investigations and to his conclusion he confirmed I was not the person who committed this *****. He advised that he will then send a letter clearing my name. To date I haven't received any clearance letter. when I try to contact him he says he is now on pension. I contacted ABSA and they want me to start the whole process again.
