We were supposed to leave King Shaka for Capetown at 16h30 today but the flight was delayed, first to 20h30, then to 21h20 and now to 22h30, with absolutely no reason given to anyone. No Lift Representative even came to explain what the problem is and what's caused the delay....just the odd whatsapp update apologizing for the inconvenience. A 6 hour delay...assuming it's not delayed again, is more than an inconvenience. No genuine apology, no meal voucher, no hotel voucher, sweet nothing. The first time I flew with Lift, they also failed to 'Lift off ' on time , so this will be the absolute last time I book a flight with Lift Airline. It's a disgrace that you treat your passengers like thus. There are babies, young children and pensioners like myself, some of us needing to travel on to other destinations, which we can't do if we arrive in Capetown well after midnight.
Woodford Car Hire in Umhlanga was a pleasure to deal with. We had an issue with the car they had organized for us, but they made another plan and upgraded us to an Automatic for the inconvenience. I will definitely use them again.
