Active since May 2023
I have been with Supersonic for a few years and wanted to stay with them but It's has been 21 days since I put in an order with them to move my line to my new home. When I 1st got Supersonic I sang their praises. I even had my mother change over to them. But my recent experience has left me feeling that they are just another south African company that no longer cares. This is what has been going down. I placed my order on the 1st of June and canceled my old line. After about a week I followed up and was told that my order was canceled. They don't know why, it was an error and they will make it active again. After a day or two I followed up again and was told that my order is canceled. This time I was told that this was due to the suspension of my previous line due to late payment. In November 2023 I upgraded my previous line and when they did the upgrade they some how lost my billing details. When I didn't see the debt order on my account I tried contacting them but received no help so I left it. Only in May 2024 did they send me an email advising of the suspension. I promptly paid the outstanding balance on the 20th of May. So even after paying and the account was in order, they still did not release the suspension and now in June just canceled my new order. They again admitted that it was their oversight. For the last 2 weeks I have been following up daily with them about my order with very little to no assistance or urgency. I requested a call from a senior manager which took 2 days of following up to call me. After chatting this person said he would get it auctioned. I am still waiting... Further to this I have continued with daily follow ups and continue to get the same questions which I have answered 5+ times already. Todaybi received a sms that says my order has been canceled AGAIN! When checking what's going on I was told it was their mistake again. I have again asked to speak to a manager, someone with the authority to take action and I am still waiting for the call. I have been told the project manager will call me. I am waiting for that as well. Following up now again I have been told to call their customer care line. ***!? Frankly it is absolutely pathetic that I long-time client or any client at all should go through this headache. Nevermind all the money spent on mobile data which would be unessesary if Supersonic and Vumatel has their things in order.
