I am writing to register my disappointment regarding the poor customer service that I have received from Cape Umbrellas. As a valued customer, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism when engaging with the company, but unfortunately, the service that I received was far from satisfactory. From the moment I placed my order, I noticed that the customer service was lacking. The staff members that I interacted with seemed annoyed by my inquiries and requests for information, and the ordering process was disorganized and confusing. I received my order after much struggle. In just 5 times we have used the umbrella, I discovered that it was faulty, and I immediately contacted your customer service department to seek assistance in rectifying the issue. Cleary under warranty. However, the service that I received was extremely disappointing. I had to follow up every day to request feedback, and your staff members were unresponsive and unhelpful in their responses. They publish videos of wind durability of their umbrellas and there is no way my umbrella experience anything close to that. Finally, after several attempts, your representative came to pick up the faulty umbrella. However, I was appalled when I received a reply that I have to pay for the repairs, which is unreasonable, considering that the item was faulty after only five times I've used the umbrella. I am very disappointed by this experience, and I strongly believe that I deserve better treatment as a customer. I will be sharing my experience with my friends and colleagues, as well as online review platforms. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take the appropriate steps to improve your customer service standards. Sincerely, Johan
