After many years away from camping, the time has finally come to get back into it and give my young children the ultimate experience of enjoying nature at its best. Upon arriving at Camp and Climb – Bellville, we were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable young salesman named Raylin. From the very start, Raylin shared invaluable camping advice and insights, quickly recognising that we needed plenty of guidance to make our return to camping a truly world-class experience. Over the next four days, we also had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, JP, who, like Raylin, brought years of experience and expertise to the table. Both JP, Raylin, and the entire Camp and Climb – Bellville team went above and beyond to secure the stock we needed and took the time to share their remarkable product knowledge and personal camping experiences with us. Each time we visited the store, we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff who patiently answered all our new questions and helped us every step of the way, ensuring we built a camping setup perfectly suited to our unique needs. I recently had a disappointing experience with Proteco Covers, and I feel it's important to share my story. We purchased a PVC pool cover from them in 2020, and unfortunately, it sustained damage during a severe wind storm, resulting in a tear along the stitching. Although the cover was no longer covered by the warranty, I reached out to Natascha at Proteco Covers to schedule a repair appointment, fully prepared to cover the costs myself. Regrettably, my experience with their after-sales service has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite my persistent efforts to arrange an appointment, Natascha consistently provided excuses or completely ignored my requests. This cycle persisted for eight days, during which I received empty promises and felt unheard. As my frustration grew, I couldn't help but notice the numerous negative reviews on their Facebook page, which only added to my sense of disappointment. Ultimately, I made the difficult decision to seek assistance from another service provider for the repair. Given the lack of responsiveness and support, I experienced from Proteco Covers, I cannot recommend them for any further business or support. If you place value on reliable after-sales service and maintenance work, I strongly advise you to seek out an alternative supplier, as Proteco Covers is unlikely to provide the support or assistance you may need.
