O'Galito Woodlands Mall - avoid it like the plague
O'Galito Shop 30A Woodlands Boulevard Pretoria East 012 997 4165/6 Shocking service in a restaurant that should not be trading On Saturday 19 October my wife and I went to O'Galito in Woodlands Mall - Pretoria East. Both of us wanted prawns. We sat down and waited more than 15 minutes before we asked if we could order a drink. The lady who came to help did not know what a "lime and soda" was. Then we waited another 20 minutes to place our orders and yet again we had to ask to be served. My wife ordered 15 prawns with chips and myself 15 prawns with rice and lemon butter sauce. And so the waiting started. Eventually, a gentleman came to the table and handed out bread and butter, stating that the other waiters were not doing their jobs. Eventually, my wife got her order but my order was missing. By the time my order arrived my wife's food was cold. My order arrived without the lemon butter sauce. I am still waiting for the lemon butter sauce. We ordered another lime and soda, we are still waiting. During our meal, we observed some ****roaches running across the floor....rather appetising while eating. With the meal over one would expect to be asked if one would like a coffee; a dessert or maybe just the bill. That never happened. Eventually, I asked to see the owner - the owner is not available tonight was the answer. Then the manager I asked. A lady came to the table and started apologising and then told us, upon hearing our complaint about the ****roaches, that "we are busy fumigating for ****roaches". I fail to understand how any restaurant can be fumigating while clients are in the restaurant and food is being prepared. The manager tried to explain that "maybe the ****roaches are running around because they are confused because of fumigating". Tshwane Health should step in and check out this venue. The owner should try and save his business by training his staff a lot better or maybe just close the doors. Nobody wants to eat in a restaurant that is ****roach-infested.

Abusive Solar Man Pretoria East "owner"
Our SCHUBART INVERTER was re-installed by our Nedbank Insurance Service Provider after being sent back because of setting problems. With the installation of the new batteries, we encountered the same problem (a) the batteries do not charge and (b) at night time the system bypasses the batteries and takes on Eskom power. On 6 June 2023 my wife and I returned to the store to try and get some assistance as the settings, as programmed by Solar Man Pretoria East were not working. The rude abusive manner in which my wife and I got treated when asking for assistance is unacceptable. My wife was told to "f**k-off out of the shop ". I was told that I was stupid as I could not read the manual. The more we tried to explain that the settings were as per Solar Man Pretoria East the more abusive the indicated "owner of the business" became. It was very clear that Solar Man Pretoria East does not have the technical knowledge or ability to advise customers on solar problems. We have photographic evidence where "the owner" singed a middle finger to my wife of 73. Pretoria residents should not purchase from this store and should avoid the store like the plague. Solar Man Pretoria - NO CARE ATTITUDE
Solar Man at Solomon Mhlangu Ave Pretoria East. Our Schubart inverter got damaged by lightning. Nedbank Insurance replaced same with same. The new unit was set up as per the settings of the previous unit. However, the system will not utilize the saved battery power. Tried to reason with Manager Jean that the unit, not a week old, is faulty. Tried to get technical assistance from Solar Man but they cannot assist. Their knowledge of the product and technical assistance is pathetic. Solar Man acknowledged that the manual provided by the manufacturer is a badly translated effort. After-sales service as their knowledge of the product is totally unacceptable.
