I would like to give 5 stars to the Torga Optical branch based at Ferndale on Republic, on Republic Road in Randburg. I happened to walk past the shop during a visit to the mall and saw an advert for two pairs of mulltifocals for the price of one and decided to make an appointment to check on my prescription. This was the best decision I could have made. Ms. Yashika Maharaj, the optometrist advised me that as I work mainly on a computer, I did not really require multifocal glasses and merely required readers, thereby saving me thousands of Rand. Not only did I experience such friendly and professional service from Ms. Maharaj, but Roxanne and Euleen are super efficient and make an otherwise dull and drab visit to an optometrist a fun one. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Affordable Garage Doors is based on the West Rand. I have used their services countless times and I have recommended them and will continue to recommend them to anyone qho requires repairs to their garage doors. Their service if efficient, extremely professional and their work is of very high quality. On quite a few occasions I've had to call on them after work hours and even on weekends and they have responded almost immediately for various issues which they always resolved.
I recently upgraded my device online on MTN's upgrade portal. After doing the upgrade I received no SMS or email confirmation of the upgrade. After a week I decided to contact the call centre and found a LiveChat facility (I decided not to use the call in option because I had neither the time nor the patience to be shunted from pillar to post). The call centre agent then advised me that online upgrade orders do not funnel through to anywhere and that I would need to redo the order online with them, which I duly did. Since then, still no SMS or email confirmation of the order. The call centre agent needed to send me a manual email. Since then, I have sent several more LiveChats to various call centre agents and I'm always advised that there is no stock of the device. When I took out the order, the deal was advertised at R499.00 a month. I see now that the same deal is now being advertised at R519.00 a month. Whay advertise the detail if there is no stock?? I wrote an email of complaint to the complaints email address on the MTN website. Surprise, surprise ...... NO RESPONSE!!!!! I got a phone call from a Sales Agent trying to sell me a an upgrade. I explained to him that I had already done an upgrade and he promised to phone me back the next day. I am still waiting for that phone call. I am writing to HelloPeter in the hope that this gets through to MTN management and that some action is taken.
MTN contract still showing R384.00 worth of airtime, however when making calls, voicemail message that I have insufficient airtime. Logged several calls with the Customer Service Centre, not one of the agents seems to know what the issue is. Issue has to be escalated which takes 48 hours to resolve. This seems to be a know issue.
