Best car service center in Tshwane
I just had my Jeep Grand Cherokee serviced at Koops MRC and want to express my satisfaction with their professionalism and never *********** the client. I have had four previous vehicles serviced at Koops, two BMWs, a Kia Sorento, and a Land Rover Freelander, always at a very reasonable rate. Koops technicians always check that everything on the car is in order and they phone you with an estimate before fixing faults not on the initial job card. I live in Centurion, but it is worth the effort to have my cars serviced in Gezina! Koops MRC is situated at 657 Steve Biko Rd, Gezina, Pretoria, and does car services, repairs, and maintenance, including auto electrical, on all makes and models of vehicles. Their work and parts carry a 6-month and/or 10 000 km guarantee, they are AA Quality Assured approved independent dealer and RMI/MIWA registered.

R40 for a serving of avo in season!
My wife and I had breakfast at The Daily Coffee Cafe Castle Walk this weekend. We both ordered the banting breakfast (R59.00 each) and the waiter asked if we would like avo with that, to which we agreed (I would have thought that avo is part of a banting breakfast anyway, but so be it). Upon receiving the bill I saw that they charged us R40 per serving of avo. I made an inquiry to the owner/manager who happened to be in the venue, to which she rep**** that it is about the season. Avos are now IN season, so I said it was ridiculous. Her response was that that is what "The Daily" charges, perhaps meaning the franchise. I indicated that the waiter should bring to the attention of the customer the charge for an extra if they insist on asking for such an exorbitant amount. Whichever way you look at it, it makes no sense to ask R59 for breakfast and then charge R40 to add a fruit, even if it is avocado. I'll have my breakfast somewhere else in the future.
