I was contacted by OnAir in January 2024, a 3rd party agent for MultiChoice regarding an upgrade to the Dstv Ultra decoder. I was offered a 24 months repayment option and an extra add-on feature provided by Uconnect. This consist of a free sim card with a promised free R50 airtime on a monthly basis. My debit orders for March and April were processed successfully. To date I have been contacting Uconnect for 6 times via telephone and 2 times via e-mail with no response from any agent as promised. Every time I get the same answer. “It seems that there is a problem and we need to look into this. We will give you feedback as soon as possible.” Unfortunately I’ve spent too much time and effort to sort out this problem. I’m quite disappointed in the service from Uconnect and OnAir as this is not what I would have expect from a service that is linked to MultiChoice.
