They used to be acceptable, but went there after going to Spar Birch Acres. We enquired about their specials. We decided on a Pizza. It was a large one plus one kiddies pizza free. Well after a recommendation we ordered a Steak & Onion pizza. Well we waited very long for our order. When the waitress brought us our order we said it took quite long. Her answer was that there was other orders ahead of us. Well they were not very busy and people who arrived after us got their orders well before us. For the price we paid and what we received was very disappointing and not nice at all. Steak was dry and the kiddies free pizza was served in a polistyrene container all crumpelled up. I dont think I will support them again.
Their info can be useful but it can also be overwhelming. Too much can be frustrating and I believe it borders on contravention of the Popia Act. They dont look at age and subsequently send offers which a pensioner will not qualify for.
We as Pensioners were let down three times in a row. We were in the market to scale down to an older car. Well there never proper guidance or info from Sales Staff or even Management. We at The Dome and was referred to the "Best" salesman. Well the best lacked Customer Service or Respect for especially elderly people. I went to go and look at a car that was secured for us to come and view. After going to the car it was found in a very bad condition. I know that "Cheapies" can come with shortfalls etc , but when I opened the boot I noticed there was No Sparewheel or Jack. Not even to mention the other problems. Now the was cleared by Dekro as basically ready for roadworthy test. As far as I know a sparewheel is a required item for a test', but the salesman told me that it is no longer required by law to have one. Well the least this sales person if he cared for elderly people etc. should have atleast pointed it out. So the moral of the story is Don't just buy. make sure. If I had driven the car home and encountered a flat wheel, would would I have done. I know what the response is going is a copied and pasted reply as in many other reviews That have taken note of it. Management never really come back with a proper reply.
Be careful when you receive a call from their Call Centre to take up an offer for DSTV EXPLORA ULTRA unit. It sounds very enticing but especially Pensioners and others must CAREFUL. If you times the amount offered x 24months you will get an astonishing amount of approx R5000. This offer only for the decoder. You must still pay your normal DSTV subscription. They tell you this offer includes everything. BE CAREFULL
