On Sunday 17 March 2024 we bought 7 x Scatter Cushions from Rochester Clearwater Mall. We paid more than R4000 for these items. The very next day at 09H00, 18 March 2024 we took 5 of these items back, because it didn't look good with our furniture. The Sales Person, Mandla, informed us that they will have to get permission from head office to refund us and it will take between 4-9 days. He took the items we bought together with the receipts without giving us a copy of what we bought. After we had to send Mandla an email earlier today, he rep**** that Head office Declined our request for a refund, because they have a policy Not do refunds on Decor items. That was never declared to us when we bought the items. There is also no sign in the shop stating this. We called Mandla as well to explain to us why he never informed us about the Decline and why he never explained to us their policy. He rep**** that he will speak to his Manager who left early ( before 16H00) and give us an answer tomorrow morning at 10H00. We had a look at their policy On Line and there is nothing about a None Refundable Policy on Decor Items. We would just like to have our money back and never deal with Rochester ever again.
Try calling their number (012)006-5094. One get through to recording voice prompt to leave a message so they can call you back, but with no luck. I got through only one time and the lady took down my details for a technical advisor to call me back, Also with no luck. Why do the have a "Receptionist" if she doesn't do het job. Why doing Business with them if they can't even answer their calls. Not recommend to go with. I bought a new place and Unfortunately the developer used their product and I need technical advice as the geyser isn't doing what it's supposed to do.
