We took out excess cover online for car hire in Europe - not easy to find for South Africans. This was a simple process and much cheaper than the excess reduction cover offered by the rental company. We returned the car with minor damage and were charged an estimated amount. We put in a claim and rentalcover.com reimbursed us within two days. The car rental company then sent us a bill for the balance of the excess - panic stations since we had already claimed. We forwarded the email to rentalcover.com and they reimbursed us overnight. What a pleasure to deal with this company!
