Capitec Incorrect issue wrong loan and ruin my Credit score
I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with Capitec Bank regarding the incorrect loan issued and the subsequent issues that have arisen. First, I will start by describing purpose lending. A purpose lending loan is when you take a loan for the aim of doing something like buying a car or home improvement On 10 May 2025, I went to Mpumalanga Kwaggafontein Capitec Bank to open credit. What I wanted was a personal loan. However, I was asked, "What do I need to do with the money?" I said, "For home renovation roofing." The person who was handling the loan was Friddah. She gave me good customer service; however, I’m not sure where she misunderstood me. She said to me, "Here at Capitec we can offer the discount of 30%. Where do you want to buy the materials?" I said, "Discount Build. I have a quotation already." She said, no, we partner with Build It. Why don't you go to Build It?. I told her Build It is expensive. I went to Build It before I went to Discount Build. The quote was over 100,000. No, she insists and recommends I go to Build-It, which is a discount. Fast forward, the purpose of the lending loan was to issue 124,000. The 87,000 was for material, which merged my quote at Discount Build, and the 37,000 was for labor. She then said, After this documentation, you can go to Build It with this proof of payment. I went to Build It. I told the 2 ladies that I was sent by Capitec. I will need the materials, but not now. I will need the materials in June. They said, OKAY, come back in June. June, I went back to Build it for materials collection. Build-It created the Quote that was 114000 They told me they can't merge discount builds. I then went to Capitec Menlyn Main to log the ticket for the purpose of canceling the lending. Build It sent the money back to Capitec. Note this loan was already running; the first installment was debited at the end of May. Capitec took back the loan together with interest. The purpose of the loan is not fulfilled. I'm sitting with the poor credit score. I can't get a loan to finish my home renovation yet. Capitec took back their money together with interest. Here I’m sitting with bad credit, helpless. It's been 2 weeks. I have visited MenlynMain branch 4 without assistance. I have called client care several times without assistance. What scares me the most is that the rain is coming and the house is leaking. Capitec is ruined my credit score All I want is for my credit score to be fixed since the loan has been paid in full. as it was ruined by Capitec, or offer me with the personal loan that I wanted at first so I can be able to finish my renovation This is honestly pathetic service, and I will NEVER advise anyone to take out a loan with Capitec. After some research, it seems this is a trend with Capitec, as noted in another. What is three credit regulator do in an incident like this? Why is it that the capitec can not dispute this credit since them that ruin the Profile? I don't want to talk about Build it How can they handle big credit like this so careless without verifying everything within 7 days?

04/2022 I joined the Oyi medical card account. The account works for a few months and stops working. I tried connecting them to address the issue. They said IT is working on the issue. I would go to click to purchase medication, still it would say not authorized. I tried to calling for assisted for the almost 8 months I then decided to deactivate the account and they said within 7 days I will receive my refund. It has been 3 months now still waiting. I'm not recomming this medical account to anyone
