BEWARE Their website seems to be very professional (golf attire and bags) but that is where it ends. They are ****mers, once you have placed your order and paid, they confirm and then nothing. No amount of emails to all of the addresses I could find assisted and all remain unanswered.
Just as another reviewer aptly noted, “a zero” would be more appropriate. My tenant purchased a 2010 Chevy Spark in December 2024 after her previous vehicle was written off in an accident. As her livelihood depends on having reliable transport, her then employer accompanied her to Bargain Auto, where she reluctantly bought the Spark — intending to upgrade later when circumstances allowed. In July 2025, she returned to Bargain Auto and traded in the Chevy for a 2012 Renault Clio, which the dealership assured her was a fantastic buy and great deal. However, after taking the Clio for a roadworthy test, she was horrified to learn that the vehicle was severely compromised — plagued by numerous electrical and mechanical faults, oil leaks, and declared totally unsafe to drive. Bargain Auto had effectively sold her s****, despite fully knowing her dependence on a reliable vehicle and trading in a perfectly good one. They refused to roadworthy the vehicle, never disclosed that it was classified as “s****,” and it later emerged that this fact had been endorsed on the sale agreement without ever being communicated to her. Her repeated attempts to have the matter resolved were met with denial, refusal, and sheer arrogance — with absolutely no regard for her situation. After incurring significant costs and hardship (she has very limited means), and only after escalating the matter to the Ombudsman and other bodies, she finally managed to reach an agreement to have her original vehicle returned. I accompanied her when she went to fetch her car. The Renault was returned by tow truck — at her expense — and we were met by an uncooperative, arrogant dealer principal who even accused my wife of lying following a prior phone call in which she had tried to mediate. To make matters worse, the Chevy was no longer in the condition she had left it and was barely drivable. When she raised this, they again refused any assistance whatsoever. She has also now been laboured with all costs to repair, roadworthy and licencing of the Chevy, costs she can ill afford. Bargain Auto’s website claims they are ethical, professional, and customer-focused — nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, they are *********, unaccountable, and utterly lacking in transparency or compassion. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them.
Have had great service for years but not so much over the last months. No or intermittent internet service, many, many phones calls, setting changes etc all to no avail. Technician was finally going to be dispatched last Monday but not a single communication since despite daily follow up calls. We work and study from home and cannot accept this tardy service especially in today’s times. Will certainly change ISP if not resolved by end of the week.
Very satisfied with the service. They were quick, the product is good..
