Dear Vodacom, I am not your customer, havent been for more than 20 years and it doesnt look as though I ever will be. Money was deducted from my account and your consultants said I have to go to a store to have this stopped. Why? I dont want to go to your store for any reason and haven't been there for more than 20 years and do not wish to ever return there. I've spent some time trying to find a human at vodacom and the bots simply hang up without offering a means of speaking to a human and their chat is as bad. Telkom offers means to chat to a human agent, call human beings and many other ways of being assisted promptly. Much better experience
To whom it concerns, We have made every attempt possible to resolve our dispute with Intergro Technologies, related to the exorbitant fees being charged. We were deceived and Intergro Technologies made no attempt to resolve this but rather stalled and misled us further. We approached Intergro Technologies to assist in financing two seperate systems installed by our service provider - one for a retail outlet and one for a manufacturing facility. Intergro Technologies wanted to bring an agreement through that we would then sign immediately and we had to ask several times to have it emailed to us first. We received two attachments with identical amounts creating the impression that it was a duplicate attachment for one very favourable agreement. The salesman, Craig was very eager to have us sign it immediately but we asked to meet them first as the document was illegible and we wanted them to explain the content of the agreement. When we went to their offices, we discovered that it was in fact set up in such a way that the two installations were bundled together and the cost structure was split down the middle, despite the second installation's roughly 300% difference. The salesman, Craig was very helpful and assured us that there is no need for concern, explaining that it is just the way they went about it to get financing approved. He explained how Intergro Technologies have years of experience in working with the banks and find the best possible solution. We said that it is two completely separate installations and we need to have it set up as such. He assured us that he would ask the finance department to look at how this can be adjusted. We explained that we were not comfortable to sign and the requirements still needed to be finalized. He continued to convince us and compelled us to sign that agreement simply as a means to get the ball rolling and see if the financing will be approved. Craig brushed our concerns aside and said that nothing was final as they would first apply at a couple of places and then we can finalize everything. Right after signing the first "provisional" agreement, I received a telephone call to approve the installation of the first system. I was bewildered when I was told that they were loading the hardware and all I needed to do was provide the approval and we would be up and running right away. This was the first instance when I was informed that they are able to send a team to install. We were under the impression that our service provider - Moder Eco Energy Solotions - would be installing and Intergro Technologies were simply the company who would arrange the financing. I expressed my concerns but was assured everything would be sorted out and we have no need to be concerned. This was during a distressful time where Intergro Technologies were well aware of the fact that new unprecedented loadshedding implementation was crippling our business and impulsively, but hesitantly I agreed. After the installation it became apparent that we were cheated by Intergro Technologies. They came to us and tried to clarify after the fact how they cut our service provider out and assured us that we need not be concerned about anything else. Intergro Technologies persuaded us that there was no need for concern when we expressed that we felt pressured, cheated and a growing sense of distrust. They presented us a new agreement that we had to sign for the installation that was done. We could see that the amounts were not split proportionally as requested. Intergro Technologies only did a minor adjustment to the figures, but a minor adjustment was not acceptable at all as we expected something like a 1:3 split. We explained again that we felt cheated into the installation and now having to sign after installation for an amount that would mean we would already be paying for the second system which we have not even finalized. Intergro Technologies refuted the fact that we would be paying for the second system and we asked for a breakdown of how the amount was calculated. We wanted assurance that we would be paying for what we are getting without additional amounts. Craig, brushed off our concerns and reassured us that there are industry governing standards by which they have to comply and that the serial numbers of the units they installed are linked to the amount we will be paying. There was apparently no way they could over charge us. We were reassured and we signed, only to find out after the first payment that we are indeed grossly overcharged. Intergro Technologies were unwilling at every instance to provide a breakdown of how they calculate the monthly instalment but it is clear that we are paying much more than we should for the system that was installed. The fact that Intergro Technologies refuted this and app**** various tactics to stall and discourage us, confirm to us that this was deliberate and a sales tactic. We reached out to them and expressed that we felt pressured and cheated but Intergro Technologies did not allow us the opportunity to make use of the cooling off period. Rather they twisted facts and belittled our concerns and communication while constantly referring us to the agreement and saying it is impossible to change anything after the fact. We continued reaching out and even booked a meeting with Intergro Technologies to find a solution. Despite offering suggestions Intergro Technologies continue to refuse every effort and maintain an immovable stance. When I requested to speak to one of their directors, they would not and Craig said our meeting was merely me airing our grievances. Comparative quotes however confirm that we are being charged about double the amount to be expected. Intergro Technologies left no other option but for us to reject their agreement and make every effort to fight this wicked trap that we were lured into.
