Why are you paying for medical aid monthly premiums if they would refuse a claim. On the 8th of September I had a car accident and got left ankle injury/fracture,I performed ORIF on the 9th and went home for healing…I’ve been attending physio therapy sessions and bought moonbooth from my own pocket yet MEDHELP (MEDSaver plan MH8025363) refuses to fully cover for the procedure done by orthopaedic specialist Dr Nackier,they only covered half of the amount and now I have to settle over R20 000(bare in mind it not co-payment or anything)to the Doctors room.They say my injury is not PMB complying.I called them and they said the qoutes/codes from the Doctor’s department are not covered by medihelp,how the F*** would clients know qoutes and codes that are covered for claims. On the plan,everything is mentioned to be covered by medical aid insurance It such s disgusting event for them to behave like this during claims, I believe they are just a bunch of ****ming team just like other insurances I wish I knew better….if you have the same plan consider yourself not covered at all,it such bull**** behaviour
So I bought a car (DR11RC GP) on the 19th of October at burchmore durban branch because I needed a quick car to use for work since mine got into an accident on September. I paid the amount in full. Okay a car came with all it papers. I went for roadworthy test the following day and it passed Now the problem is,they sold me a car with an expired lisence disc and THEY did not evn declare at traffic department that the car was sold to me. I’ve been up and down trying to do change of onwership and get valid license disk I can’t because the car still appears to be theirs Since I stay in centurion,they requested car’s lockbook back to them and said a courier will collect it last week Friday. Dololo till today they haven’t. Basically I’ve been driving around in a ghost car and it 2. weeks now, and I don’t have a choice I have to work. What would you do in this situation???
Prime insurance at it again,they rejected my claim because I was involved in an accident on the 8th of September.No alcohol(I don’t drink) involved even my bank statements says it all,car was in perfect condition and I was on standby for work on the day of the accident.The reason they said is I was driving at a speed of 192 km/h immediately before the accident yet after the accident my car’s engine was still running and the car is standing on all 4 wheels. Is it even possible to come out of a car walking with no stretch at such speed???It pure disgusting lie. How do they really obtain they’re data? If you think you’re insured using PMD consider something else,they operate the same as SA government.
Hi, if you are using or about to use Prime Mediam Direct (PMD) insurance, consider yourself as un-insured at all. I got hit by chipstones on a freeway and my windscreen and sunroof trim glass got affected. I made a glass claim (CL**********09) on the 2nd of August 2024 for it.PMD only reffered me to people whom will only change windscreen, I did not accept that. Called the insurance to enquire about it they said they will sort it out with their claims department, till today NOTHING has been said, they are just quite. To cut story short, I have been calling and calling for mere update nor communication. I've spoken to over 5 callers, all of them (we will give you a call back) but they never do. So to give some time, l've made calls on Monday's only for any small update since it a start of a new week but ZERO communication from their side.I even tried to make things simple for them, looked/got quotation from a company(registered under SAMBRA) that can fix atleast sunroof panel(windscreen, I can do it myself if I have to) forwarded everything on their WhatsApp still no communication whatsoever. Worse part rain season is about to start with a demaged sunroof panel. I wonder how would it be if YOUR car gets into an accident nor thirdparty claim if they can't communicate for a simple glass claim especially if you never misses your premiums every month. This serves as a warning about what could happen to you also with PMD insurance when fate knocks at your door.
