End July 2023: Jura Coffee Machine was given to Raymond Appliances for the repair of a minor leak. 4 August: Machine returned. R5280 paid. 5 August: Machine tested- water leaking from below the machine AND water leaking to the inside. No water was emitted from the spout. IMPORTANT: WATER LEAKING TO THE INSIDE WASN'T A PROBLEM WHEN THE APPLIANCE WENT TO Raymond Appliances / Appliance Repair Centre. 8 August: The coffee machine was returned to the service provider for re-assessment. 21 August: The coffee machine returned and tested OK. 22 August: The coffee machine leaked water to the inside and emitted no water through the spout. Paid R1000 instead of R2000 claimed. 21 August to 3 September: a Plethora of WhatsApp messages to the service provider, who was evasive and refused to take responsibility FOR THE WATER LEAKING TO THE INSIDE. 4 September: The service provider ultimately promised to inspect the machine upon his return from Limpopo in two weeks' time (thus 18 September 2023). He failed to oblige. 9 October 2023: The machine was given to a different service provider, who repaired the WATER LEAKING TO THE INSIDE at a cost of R3000, which never was a problem when the machine went in for repairs to Raymond Appliances / Appliance Repair Centre.
