I had an absolutely terrible experience with Appliance Repair Center situated in Eloffsdal, Pretoria contact number 012 335 8610/ 076 649 0552. Not only was their service ***********, but I also experienced what I believe to be outright theft and appalling customer treatment. I initially contacted them to repair my washing machine, and they came to fetch my washing machine, in which after that i made numerous calls to follow up on the progress and also get the quote and subsequent to the phone calls no feedback was give rather than that they are waiting for the part from their supplier, in which two months down the line i therefore requested them to return my washing machine so that i can seek for another services provide to assist. They remove my PC board out of my machine and never returned it with the machine and when I contacted them to inquired about the missing PC board, they outrightly told me they cant help me coz i was only coming back to them after a long time so i must sort myself out. Despite my argument that when they return the machine, i did not know what they did or taken out, only now when someone came to fix my machine onsite we then releasing that the PC board in not there, they never returned the board, nor offered any explanation, but refused to take responsibility. This has left my appliance unusable and will now cost me even more to replace the PC board and also fix the issue. Worse still, their customer service was shockingly unprofessional—rude, dismissive, and in my experience, discriminatory. I was treated with blatant disrespect that bordered on ******. They even put down the phone on my ear, without us even getting a way forward with the missing PC Board and they have even wrote on he Whatsup communication that unfortunately PC board are a high turn over for their business so they can't help me. I was left feeling insulted and deeply frustrated by the way I was spoken to and ignored. I strongly advise others to stay far away from this business. It’s not just about poor service—it’s about integrity, respect, and fairness, all of which were completely lacking here. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Calvin came out to attend to a fridge issue. His service, his attendance, his value of time was EXCELLENT, only wanting the call out fee two days after the repairs were done and I was happy it was working, he proceeded to pass by two other times with no charge to check on an issue I brought up relating to what was repaired, I would recommend him hands down.

They failed to turn up twice for an appointment, even though I had confirmed the appointments on email and telephonically. Very poor customer service.

I booked online for a callout to see what is wrong with my fridge. Happiness was sent to check. He asked for a R250 e-wallet which I sent. He / the company have been ghosting me now for over 2 weeks. I have tried phoning and messaging repeatedly

I called Appliance Care Centre in to repair my Bosch fridge . 2 guys arrived and determined they had to replace electronic regulator boards which seemed reasonable . Long story short they presented me with an invoice for R 4,980. The parts came to R4,100 which I queried but they explained they were original Bosch parts therefore the cost. We paid them anyway and they gave us an invoice which guaranteed their work for 24 months. Fridge stopped working after 2 days and we've been struggling to speak to them ever since. They have promised they would be here on 3 occasions and have not pitched up and then don't answer any more calls. Please avoid these guys . We're left with a R5k repair job which doesn't work. Their phone number is +27 81 714 3097

My fridge that has been used by 2 people & i have for 6 years packed up. Not sure if it was with all the loadshedding. I was away for a week & only noticed the evening after i got home my fridge was on but not making cold. Paid for 2 people to look at it & was told the same thing. Irreparable. Contacted insurance company & they sent out their people to check - Appliance Repair Centre. Same thing - fridge is irreparable. Then my claim was denied because of no gas? I was not a happy chappy & wanted to know how can it go from irreparable to wear & tear no gas? If it was a case of regassing, of course i would do it. I have requested a report & so has my insurance company but not a word from ARC for over a month. So are we now meant to buy new refridgerators every 5-6 years? or is that the thing to say now, irreparable because that was the exact words used by all 3 technicians, but my insurance company denies my claim as they were told - wear and tear no gas

End July 2023: Jura Coffee Machine was given to Raymond Appliances for the repair of a minor leak. 4 August: Machine returned. R5280 paid. 5 August: Machine tested- water leaking from below the machine AND water leaking to the inside. No water was emitted from the spout. IMPORTANT: WATER LEAKING TO THE INSIDE WASN'T A PROBLEM WHEN THE APPLIANCE WENT TO Raymond Appliances / Appliance Repair Centre. 8 August: The coffee machine was returned to the service provider for re-assessment. 21 August: The coffee machine returned and tested OK. 22 August: The coffee machine leaked water to the inside and emitted no water through the spout. Paid R1000 instead of R2000 claimed. 21 August to 3 September: a Plethora of WhatsApp messages to the service provider, who was evasive and refused to take responsibility FOR THE WATER LEAKING TO THE INSIDE. 4 September: The service provider ultimately promised to inspect the machine upon his return from Limpopo in two weeks' time (thus 18 September 2023). He failed to oblige. 9 October 2023: The machine was given to a different service provider, who repaired the WATER LEAKING TO THE INSIDE at a cost of R3000, which never was a problem when the machine went in for repairs to Raymond Appliances / Appliance Repair Centre.
