Protector Build

My experience with Protector build was shocking! Sharks is the correct statement. They made me an offer to purchase a large amount of Marley tiles. They come out to do a measurement on my roof and did the calculation. I wanted R8,000 but after negotiations we agreed on R7000.00 I told the sales person if I get anything less than this, don't even bother collecting from me. He ensured me the breakage has been accounted for in the offer. Just after agreeing to the offer he kept on calling me to ask if they can collect on Saturday morning from me. The Roof guys just started that Friday on my roof. So I had the roof guys work late on the Friday to get a section of the tiles off the roof so Protector Build can pick it up on the Saturday as they already sold my tiles to a client in Alberton. The Sales guys needed about 600 tiles. They promised to be there at 7:30 the Saturday morning but never made it. I left work to eventually open for them at 2pm. In the next 2 weeks about another 2 or 3 truck loads of tiles was collected and the sales guy said I will be paid within 7-10days after the last collection which was on the 20th October 2023 The 10 days past and I had to start calling them but I had no luck. Eventually a lady send me a form via WhatsApp to sign stating they will pay me out R5,200.00 I did not accept that as we agreed upon the amount of R7000.00 The rude lady got frustrated with me and handed the phone to a Johan which he said he will sort it out but never got back to me. I kept on sending her WhatsApp's and eventually she just send me a number to call. So I called the number and Henk answered the call (Protector build) Krugersdorp. He also said he will get back to me. No one called Got hold of Nico @ Protector Build, Same thing. I kept on calling him but he is ignoring my calls. After researching I got a number for Herman the owner or the MD of Protector Build. I spoke to him that evening regarding the poor service and that I will not accept that offer. Next day I received an eft of R5,200.00 in my account. (3 weeks) later from last collection date. I send him a messages and he said he will call me back, we spoke the next day and he said he will investigate why they paid me short and get back to me. Since I have called him a couple of times and send a message but no response. Its been a week later and not even the owner can take ownership of the issue. How does businesses like them still operate.
