Company with dishonesty
This company is extremely unprofessional. Last year June 2024 I signed a deal with them for my house material including kitchen and ect for R10 000.00 payment within 10 days. I have been trying to call them from last year 2024 over the phone for my payment and they hardly take calls. Today the 11/03/2025 I am actually driving to their offices to demand my money. Worse company to ever work with.

Company with dishonesty
This company is extremely unprofessional. Last year June 2024 I signed a deal with them for my house material including kitchen and ect for R10 000.00 payment within 10 days. I have been trying to call them from last year 2024 over the phone for my payment and they hardly take calls. Today the 11/03/2025 I am actually driving to their offices to demand my money. Worse company to ever work with.

Extremely Disappointing Experience
<div>I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Protector Build. On two separate occasions, 8th August 2024 and 6th September 2024, they collected building materials from me. I signed agreements for the amounts of R30,000 and R15,000 respectively. Despite fulfilling my part of the deal, I only received the payment of R15,000 after countless calls, threats, and endless excuses. Both Bob (who handles collections) and Nico (responsible for payments) repeatedly blamed their boss for the lack of payment, but never took responsibility or showed any urgency in resolving the issue. To this day, I have still not been paid the R30,000 owed to me, as per our signed agreement. I even requested that my goods be returned, and they flat-out refused. This company has shown themselves to be dishonest, unreliable, and impossible to deal with. They are not to be trusted, and I would warn others to steer clear. It’s been a nightmare dealing with them, and I still haven’t received the money owed.</div>

Worst service in SA - Protector Build
Watch out for these people... They duck and dive you when you return goods refusing to refund your money or give you a credit I have an outstanding query older than a year now where they sold defective mixers and **** saying it's brand new from the supplier (one can clearly see it's defective the stuff aren't even welded on straight) When you talk to a manager they become extremely arrogant and rude... It's actually a good thing i was blocked, because if i had received one more insult, then I'll go there and sort it out the way SA citizens sort out problems ✊ I've never dealt with anyone this *****ed and inhumane before I have 4 witnesses and will be reporting them, opening a case of ***** and get hold of the consumer ombudsman

Protector Build Bad Service

verry unhappy supplier
these guys are very *************, the take and don't pay, they wanted me to come out to repair their truck on Christmas day, to which I refused, I helped them on the 3rd of Jan 24, gave them the invoice, and Nico keeps telling me he doesn't understand why they haven't paid me, then he says he gave the invoice to the wrong department, now he doesn't answer the phone, the office doesn't respond at all, don't do business with them unless you enjoy being ******.

Protector Build
My experience with Protector build was shocking! Sharks is the correct statement. They made me an offer to purchase a large amount of Marley tiles. They come out to do a measurement on my roof and did the calculation. I wanted R8,000 but after negotiations we agreed on R7000.00 I told the sales person if I get anything less than this, don't even bother collecting from me. He ensured me the breakage has been accounted for in the offer. Just after agreeing to the offer he kept on calling me to ask if they can collect on Saturday morning from me. The Roof guys just started that Friday on my roof. So I had the roof guys work late on the Friday to get a section of the tiles off the roof so Protector Build can pick it up on the Saturday as they already sold my tiles to a client in Alberton. The Sales guys needed about 600 tiles. They promised to be there at 7:30 the Saturday morning but never made it. I left work to eventually open for them at 2pm. In the next 2 weeks about another 2 or 3 truck loads of tiles was collected and the sales guy said I will be paid within 7-10days after the last collection which was on the 20th October 2023 The 10 days past and I had to start calling them but I had no luck. Eventually a lady send me a form via WhatsApp to sign stating they will pay me out R5,200.00 I did not accept that as we agreed upon the amount of R7000.00 The rude lady got frustrated with me and handed the phone to a Johan which he said he will sort it out but never got back to me. I kept on sending her WhatsApp's and eventually she just send me a number to call. So I called the number and Henk answered the call (Protector build) Krugersdorp. He also said he will get back to me. No one called Got hold of Nico @ Protector Build, Same thing. I kept on calling him but he is ignoring my calls. After researching I got a number for Herman the owner or the MD of Protector Build. I spoke to him that evening regarding the poor service and that I will not accept that offer. Next day I received an eft of R5,200.00 in my account. (3 weeks) later from last collection date. I send him a messages and he said he will call me back, we spoke the next day and he said he will investigate why they paid me short and get back to me. Since I have called him a couple of times and send a message but no response. Its been a week later and not even the owner can take ownership of the issue. How does businesses like them still operate.

Protector Build - Poor customer service
I got in touch with Protector Build on 18 Oct 2023. No response from the first lady I spoke to, who promised to revert. I escalated and another gentleman got assigned to help me a week later. Two weeks in, he still can't arrange for a meeting to view my kitchen that I want to sell. On 1 Nov 2023, I escalated again to the office. The staff keep promising they will come through but nothing materializes. Eventually a third gentleman got assigned to my case and he requested for the pictures of the Kitchen that i had already shared. They low balled the price so badly. I am selling a full kitchen with appliances that are in great condition and they offered my R 1500. I thanked them for the time and said I won't be taking up their services. Afterwards they ask what price I'm looking for. Close to three weeks of back and forth and it just delayed my renovations. Not worth it at all. There are other, much more efficient buyers of old kitchen. I called "Sell My Kitchen" straight after this debacle and within minutes I've managed to arrange for someone to come out and view and evaluate the kitchen.
