This company is ridiculous. I had to cancel a return portion of a pet in few months in advance and needed to book the cat in cabin. I had to pay in full from the start for the return of the cat. I cancelled, was given a estimated amount for the refund. I started being told their systems are down, then they are moving servers, then O sorry we did a name change but not to worry as we will def get our refund. It is now almost a year later. After what feels like 50 0000 calls and multiple emails and follow ups. After being ghosted I kept being persistent and managed to finally speak with Sharon, the owner / branch manager of their Cape Town branch. Then just received a email about it's been send to the higher accounts department. NO contact details ever given, no email addresses, no response and I am personally out of pocket of more than R77 000. Now finding out they are liquidated. This is absolutely unacceptable. No responsibility ... just took our money and not even a lets help you try and get the money back. I can not accept this.
BIG ****! First they were called Snugglebuddy and sells baby products. I purchased 2 chairs of R9000. After they receive your money they cut all contact with you. Telephone is on a voicemail the whole time and no response to any emails or WhatsApp’s) . The whole website looks 100 % real however this is a **** website and you will not see your product paid for nor any of your money back. Reported them a few times and they closed the facebook marketing page. 3 days later on the 17th of March a new website opens up called JuliBaby.. this is an exact replica of snugglebuddy’s website. Word for word. This company is the same. BIG BIG ****!!
unsolicited calls/ SPAM Nuisance calls from unwanted marketing of insurance and other products. I had a medical insurance with discovery in 2010 and was cancelled. I also never gave permission for Discovery to share my contract details. I have expressly stated I do not wish to receive any further communications from Discovery or your agents. "constitutes an unsolicited communication in terms of section 45 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), as read with section 11 of the Consumer Protection Act or alternatively, section 69 of the Protection of Personal Information Act " I am receiving 4 calls some days and at least 10 a month wanting to sell me something and always “it is affiliated with discovery”. I have asked numerous times to take my name off their data base only to receive another call less than a hour later. It is extremely frustrating receiving these calls constantly. What happened to POPI act? I do not want these calls. I am not interested in any of the products. I want my name off the data base that they have.
