The place was very nice and a delight with the animals but the staff there are ****** towards African people. comments were made about “watching out for the blacks.” & “they’ll touch you & your phone is gone”. If this is the rainbow nation we fought for, i believe we were hypocrites.
I opened a Funeral Cover with this bank some months ago and after some time, I asked to cancel it for reasons I won’t disclose. Yesterday, I received money in my Easy Zero Account, and not only did they take the premium. They doubled the amount after I had asked to cancel this cover. Today I called early in the morning, only to be taken through 5/6 different departments of which none of them knew how to assist. They kept saying “We don’t deal with such disputes, I’ll forward you to general banking” when it was general banking who forwarded me to the easy department. The funeral cover department did the same saying they don’t deal with disputes and cancelations. I spent over 1 hour and 4 minutes on the line, had I not called with my work phone, I would have lost more money dealing with this. Now my issue is still unresolved. My money has still not been returned and the Funeral Cover hasn’t been canceled then one of their consultants dared to promote their products to me. The only person who tried their best to assist me was Sandile Dladla otherwise, their client services are poor and they only think about profits.
