I am denied to go into the lodge for few nights based on my previous history of friendship with one of the owners, I do not get responded
I have approach the Capitec Bank, Middleburg branch and most of the consultants could not assist me as they had no clue as what I was talking about. A manager (Mandla) was called and requested to assist me. I gave him all my late grandmother”s documents as requested as my grandmother died and she had few savings with Capitec Bank. I submitted an original documents and certificate copies even the letter of Authority from the High Court. Save to state that all the necessary and required documents were submitted on the 23 October 2023 at the Middleburg Capitec Branch. I was informed that the documents are in order and t Within 48 hours the money will be transferred to a deceased late Account which account was opened with another different bank and the proof of the deceased late account was given and it was also provided to Capitec Bank. It has been 5 weeks since I submitted the documents and no money was transferred. We have been to the bank every second day of the week and every time we are told by the Manager that the matter is being handled by the head office in Cape Town and as soon as we walk out we will get a call from the manager demanding documents which have been submitted already 5 weeks. We have been submitting the same documents every week and still the Capitec has refused or denied to transfer the money to the late deceased account. We don’t have access to the money even 5 weeks later regardless of the letter of executor from the High Court. We have been denied contact details of the person allegedly dealing with this matter who is allegedly in Cape Town and we have been deprived of any information and or any query if any to date. What’s next from here
