As an avid traveller, I've rented cars from numerous companies over the years, but my recent experience with SANI Car Rental left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. Planning a much-anticipated road trip, we decided to opt for SANI due to its seemingly competitive rates and convenient location. However, what followed was a series of bewildering events that left us stranded without a vehicle and no explanation. Upon arriving at SANI's rental office to pick up our reserved car, we were taken aback when the staff informed us that our rental had been denied, mere hours before our scheduled departure. Shocked and confused, we pressed for an explanation, only to be met with vague responses and stonewalling. Despite our persistent inquiries, SANI refused to disclose any details regarding their sudden decision to deny us the rental. What was particularly frustrating about this ordeal was the complete lack of transparency from SANI regarding their vetting process. At no point during the reservation process were we informed about any potential screening or eligibility criteria that could affect our rental. It felt as though we were blindsided by a process we weren't even aware of, leaving us scrambling to find an alternative mode of transportation at the last minute. Adding insult to injury, SANI's refusal to provide any justification for denying our rental only compounded our frustration and left us feeling utterly powerless. The lack of accountability and customer service displayed by SANI is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their professionalism as a car rental company. In hindsight, I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from SANI to proceed with extreme caution. The risk of being arbitrarily denied a rental without explanation is simply not worth the hassle and uncer*****y. As for myself and my travel companions, we'll be taking our business elsewhere in the future, where transparency and respect for customers are valued.
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the level of customer service I have received from your company. This complaint is in reference to a booking and subsequent refund request for the upholstering of a steering wheel, originally scheduled for the 2nd of September 2023. To provide a comprehensive overview of the situation: 1. Booking Confirmation and Quotation Follow-Up: - On the 22nd of August 2023, I confirmed a booking with your company for the upholstering of a steering wheel. - On the 25th, I followed up on a quote that I had requested. - On the 29th of August, I followed up again, as the quote was expected by the 28th. 2. Booking and Workshop Closure Inconvenience: - By the 30th, I received an informal quote via WhatsApp and proceeded to book the car in for the 2nd of September. - On the 2nd of September, I contacted Danny to notify them of my visit to the workshop. It was then communicated that there would not be sufficient time for the service, as my booking was set for 13:00, and the workshop would be closed by then. 3. Refund Agreement and Unfulfilled Promises: - Due to the inconvenience caused, I requested a refund, which Danny agreed to on the 4th of September. - Despite numerous assurances and promises by Danny to transfer the money, as of the 22nd of November, I have not received the refund. 4. Lack of Response to Follow-Up: - On the 16th of November, I sent another follow-up regarding the refund, and I am still awaiting a response. This prolonged delay and lack of communication are highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I have been patient and understanding, but the continuous empty promises and failure to fulfill the agreed-upon refund are beyond frustrating. I expect prompt attention to this matter and an immediate resolution. It is disheartening to experience such a lapse in customer service from a company that I initially chose for its reputation and presumed reliability.
