Takealot's reason for cancelling is a product I paid for 8 days prior
I've ordered a product on 27 November 2023 at takealot online. Delivery were supposed to be on 5 December 2023. On 4 December 2023 they cancelled the order. I phoned them, they told me the product was out of stock. I checked the same product and then the product was R1 010.00 more! They told me it is the fault of the supplier. My issue is, when I ordered it for that price and there is new stock available, they should have sent it to me for the price I've ordered which were paid for as there were stock when ordering. They are liable for advertising it online while there were stock available at that time! False adverti*****t! Very disappointed.
