It was my son’s 2 year birthday and we decided to go to Spur at Cape Gate shopping centre. So we decided to park at the paid parking facilities just below the cinema so that we can take the lift to the mezzanine and use it to get back to the car again. So after our meal and very pleasant experience at the restaurant I needed to pay my parking ticket( not free parking), all three of the parking pay stations out of order, so I pressed the help button to find out how they can assist me. This guy told me to go to another entrance and go pay there. And to top it off he tells me I can take a walk it is not far…. So back and forth between the two of us and I asked for the centre manager as I am not walking to who knows where and then need to run back so that my ticket doesn't expire by the time I get to the booms. As soon as I asked for the manager the person on the other side dropped the call and I called back a few times and they refused to pick up. That was absolutely unprofessional and utterly disappointing from the cape gate staff. Yes it might just be that one person, but it reflects upon the rest of the staff…. I left Cape Gate with a very sour taste in my mouth on a day which should've been just smiles with my baby’s birthday
