I put in my solar geyser some time ago. From the beginning, the service was excellent. The after service care is great and this is so important because most companies ignore you once the product has been bought. Last week I needed their help. A special thanks to Zee ( who promptly arranged that Simba comes out the next day) and to Simba for his patience and politeness. I would recommend this company.
As a patient with a chronic illness, I have spent (and am still spending) a lot on Ampath blood services through my medical aid. I thus expect courteous services from this laboratory. Today at the Groenkloof Hospital, the desk clerk Corinda van Blerk could hardly look up from her social media phone page to help me. It was only when took down her name that her attitude changed slightly. On the other hand, newbie Sr Valerie Wiese was the epitome of friendliness and professionalism. I hope Ampath would train its staff as this is not the 1st incident that I have experienced at a different branch.
After some time I decided to look at my DSTV online premium account. I discovered the following: 1. I was billed for Showmax add- on subscription (R120) and yet having a premium means that Showmax is a free add-on. 2. There was a sneaky Indian add-on subscription(R270 plus R45) which I do not watch and had not subscribed to Total add on costs: R435 I contacted the DSTV via chat. What annoyed me was that they insisted on getting my ID number (even when I had send my residential address and account number). During these times of *****, it is not comfortable to submit an ID number. However, I comp****. The agent immediately tried to sell me a funeral plan. I protested and stated that he should first see if he could help me with my concerns and then offer me products. To cut a long story short, he stated that there would be no refund and that this add-on would be cancelled by 28/06/2024. Nothing new here because I had requested a cancellation online before talking to him. When he saw that I was sticking to the fact that the unasked for add-on was unfair to me as a customer, he shut down/closed the discussion. The fact that DSTV is facing bankruptcy means that current customers must be super vigilant!!!! I am looking for options other than DSTV. This saddens me because I have been a customer since DSTV's inception.
I live in a remote area and have been given prompt service whenever I needed it especially when my system was struck by lightning in 2023. Yesterday I had to reboot my system and Ben Cronje patiently took me through the steps. So glad that I chose this company to invest in such a big project... As Ben showed...the after service is great!
