RENCO INDUSTRIAL IS A ****. I had over R25,000 taken from me and not delivered and they disappeared. I pad for a carton sealing machine for R16,900 and also paid over R1,500 delivery as well as a Refundable Insurance if R7,440. The website looks legit and so do the pro-forma invoices but as soon as payment was made they did not return emails nor phone call and their address seems ****. Do not order from these guys. The strange thing that I am very diligent with online purchases and I even googled their review as and they had no bad reviews at all. I have filed a case with SAPS and also notified the ***** division of their bank and mine, I probably won’t see my money again but am hopeful. Valuable lesson learned.
Unacceptable service from BMW Sandton. In May this year I purchased a BMW X3 M Competition (over R1,000,000) with the following issues: 1. Apple Car Play communicated as “included”but was not, this cost me an additional R5,500 after I took delivery. 2. I was sold a vehicle with Tyres with tread less than legally required as well they were over 5 years old which is not legal. This was all confirmed in writing by Tyger Wheel & Tyre. New tyres cost me another R25,000. 3. The Licence disk and new number plates took almost 5 weeks to receive. 4. After many emails and WhatsApp's very little communication received back from BMW Sandton. No responses received at all from the DP Mike King nor the owner Matthew Vermaak. 5. No further resolution from BMW Sandton as well as BMW Customer Service department apart from that I should take this further with the Motor Vehicle Ombudsman, which I have. 6. The Quality Control Check on this vehicle is from around two weeks prior to taking delivery. (?). 7. It appears (on BMW records) the last PDI on this vehicle was conducted last year. No PDI on record when I took delivery. 8. It also appears that the BMW record of this vehicle shows some issues that may not have boon resolved prior to me purchasing this vehicle. 9. I contacted the BMW Directors office in Midrand, and they eventually confirmed that this vehicle was a “second tier” vehicle and not actually a BMW approved used car (which I was never told) so they could not get involved but suggested I take this up with the motor vehicle ombudsman as this was not acceptable dealership behaviour. Totally unprofessional, unacceptable, and in my view almost ******** service received from BMW Sandton. To everyone out there, be very cautious in taking delivery of a vehicle as it may not be road worthy and you may not be covered by insurance. Also double check all quality control checks and Pre-delivery inspections and motor plan coverages. Best advice….stay away from BMW Sandton.
