I bought a couch last year December at Lephalale store, when they delivered it they scratched it at the back and when you sit on it, it makes funny noise. I reported it they sent someone to come and inspect and told me they logged a complain so I have to wait. After a month I called the costumer care only to find out no complain was logged. They logged the complain and promised to resolve the matter. I have been calling the store manager and customer care with no luck.excuse after excuse. The store manager then told me I have been approved a new couch which they will deliver later that day Till today am still waiting for the delivery. When I call the store manager she’s always busy or promised to get back to me
I wrote a complain here on 29 April.King price responded and said I should write an email to yourscouncil they will take the matter further, which I did.I received a call after 7 days that they are going to hire a specialist to check on the damage.Its then again they requested a detailed traveling report from the tracker which I did send long time when they were still registering the claim.I called on Thursday 16/05/24 for any feedback I was told the specialist has already sent his findings and someone will call me on Friday but nobody calls I then call again on Monday 20/05/24 and I was told someone will get back to me before the end of business day,again no call. I call again on 21/05/24 I was told the specialist is hired to go and check the car tomorrow.To my surprise the specialist is the same guy they used in the beginning to assess the car and I was told the specialists has already submitted his findings last week,so were they lying to me when they said they already received specialist report? I feel like KingPrice it’s trying its best to find something on the car to avoid paying.They approved the claim because the quotation that Wynand did was R7000 now that the price is high they don’t want to pay.am so frustrated because this claim is taking so long and nobody is in touch with me.My most concern is that they have already opened up the engine.So many people have been hired to check the car.how do I know they are not doing more damage on their side. I believe when we join the insurance we want to be insured in times like this,and we pay our monthly premiums willingly without them calling to remind, but when the time comes for them to deliver the service they promised they play hide and seek.
I had an accident on 27 February 2024.It was a rainy morning my partner was driving,he ran over a stone on the road.2 minutes after hitting a stone we smell the oil.we stopped the car to check we then realised that the oil is coming out.we stopped in the middle of the road so my partner wanted to move the car to safety.Its then the light of oil pop up and we switched off the engine and call king price insurance.we explained exactly what happened prior registering the claim.my car its still under warranty The insurance tow the car to Gobid Polokwane for assessment.Took them 2 weeks to assess the car.They approved the claim and took the car to Thompson car repairs where they installed new oil samp.They then took the car to VW for diagnose.The Thompson repair started to ghost me.I have to call so many times in a day to find out what’s going on with no luck. I called kingprice for information they told me there was a new damage the car is no longer starting.They told me the engine it’s damaged so they have to assess the damage again. Then VW send Tompson repair new quotation for engine repair and Thompson emailed the quotation to Kingprice for approval.I called king price to check what’s the hold up.They told me they are waiting for “WYNAND”their assessor to advice them if the car it’s a write off or they have to do engine repair.Two weeks pass without any progress.when I call Thompson they said they are still waiting for King price to approve the new quotation,but when I call kingprice again they said everything it’s done on their side they approved everything. Another two weeks pass with no phone call,sms,email or any other kind of communication,To my surprise when I call King price today 26 April the constant by the name Thina told me they are not going to repair my car because we did not stop immediately.I told them the truth yet they approve Why did they approve my claim and open up my car if they are not going to fix it. And why did they approve the second quotation and then decided otherwise I really trusted king rice when I joined in 2022.what a disappointment. I don’t think I’ll ever refer it to anyone
My problem was resolved in just one phone call. They do their best to give best customer service. The consultant was very friendly
