Renting an apartment through Igrow Rentals was one of the most painful experiences of my entire life. The apartment was uninspected. It was inspected when I moved in, where we (me and agent) both discovered that it had no water meter, which led to me spending 5 days without water before the issue could be solved. I patiently accepted the situation without complaints, as the agent tried his best for the issue to be sorted out. When the water meter finally got installed and I got the water running, found that the shower drain was blocked to the point where a drain cleaner couldn't work. I couldn't use the shower for over 2 weeks, having to go shower at my friend's place 10 km away every morning before work, while the person at Igrow responsible of the contracters (Bianca Beavit) refused to send them over, insisting that I should buy more drain cleaners even after my agent and Lease manager tried their absolute best to tell her to attend to the issue. I am currently preparing to move out. I do not recommend using Igrow, which is painful to say because the agent and lease manager are some of the kindest people you can deal with, but clearly some structures within Igrow practice extreme despicable cruelty, meaning if your apartment has issues, they will make you suffer, push your patience above and beyond all reasonable levels. The experience has been painful to say the least, having to beg people to do what was contractually supposed to be done before the lease began.
Dealt with Sales man Mluleki Mogane at VW Highlands. He was on point with everything. Provided more than exceptional service, over and above his job. Even when there were issues he helped me resolve them. The manager on the other hand was difficult at times but Mluleki is the guy to talk to. Definitely recommend.
