On Tuesday 17th December 2024 (just after 18:00) i disconnected my vehicle battery for replacement thereof which i replaced yesterday 18th December 2024 (around 17:00).I am very disappointed because during that period,i never received a call from the Cartrack maybe to find out about any emergency/maintenance on the vehicle. That incident made me to ask myself what could have happened i was in an unfortunate situation,was a blame going to be on me for negligence during the claim? I am always honoring my payments but was dismally failed by the company.
I got a call today from the person by the name of Kelly claiming to be from Standard Bank,saying that there is a debit order which they have realised that it is about to deduct R50k today but they have not authorised it yet before doing due diligence with myself.For them to process it,is for me to open the banking app and she will assist me to block the transaction.I said to her to call me after 10 minutes as at that time i am unable to access the app, she then gave the reference as VIP Platinum 2024 ***852 to qoute during the follow up call.Please be aware of such ****mers, even now i am still in waiting for that call.
