I had a very surprising experience today when I needed to sort out my rates account with City of Joburg. I really didn't want to go in to Braamfontein, so I decided to try the Region C offices at the Civic Centre in Roodepoort. Even though the center was busy, I was well received, and received excellent service and advice. The premises were clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and well trained in the services that they were offering. I wish all of the municipal services were as good as this Service Centre.
I recently purchased a pair of shoes for my girlfriend from Fat Frank Footwear, not knowing her actual size, but did look in a pair of her shoes. The online buying process was quick, safe & simple. The shoes arrived promptly, but were unfortunately too small. I emailed the Company and they advised me that a courier would collect the shoes from me, and the correct size would be couriered back to me. And that is exactly what happened, no hassle, extra cost or unnecessary delay. A great shopping experience. Thank you.
This is not actually a review, but I would like to alert K-Way to a website that is advertising their brand and products, and essentially *****ing peoples money. We recently purchased a Nemtek item via Takealot, that keeps dogs out of flower beds. The product worked just fine, but suddenly wouldn't maintain its charge. I really didn't want to go through the whole return process with Takealot, which would require the whole set-up being dismantled. I decided to visit Nemtek's Head Office in Northriding, where I received exception service from a guy called Estiaan. He checked the system, and advised that the battery was faulty. He then replaced the battery and tested the system to ensure that it was now working. Just a great overall experience, GOOD JOB!!
Had an awesome morning indulgence, great service from start to finish in a great surrounding!
My review is not about bad service, because my late Wife received excellent care while she was being treated at Life Flora Hospital, until her passing on 15 May 2023. My complaint is about stupidity and the lack of compassion by clerical staff. For some strange reason Discovery did not pay all of the accounts, leaving an amount of around R4000 outstanding. Flora handed the account over as a BAD DEBT to Blakes Attorneys, while sending emails to my deceased wife's old email address requesting payment and trying to contact me on a cell number that hasn't been in use since 2010. I eventually received call after call from Blakes Attorneys on my correct number almost on a daily basis, but each time a different agent, and to all of them i requested documents so that i could follow up. The collection process i understand, the lack of compassion and the overall administrative failures on Life Healthcare's part was disgusting. MARK EGERTON
