I have a disability policy with Libert Life since 2017. I became sick in 2023, since July 2023 I could not work due to my illness. The doctor decided to board me due to my conditions All paperwork for a disability lumpsome was completed by by all doctors and specialists involved. My gaf score was even given to Liberty life. They started digging as far back as 2014 to see if I had this sickness when I took the policy. Up to today, 8 months further, they have not told me that my claim has been rejected, neither did they give me a cent for my disability. I have not received a salary since August 2023 to October 2023. I started getting a disability pay from my companies insurer, but up to date could not cath up on outstanding debt due to non payment for months, but I kept on paying Liberty life In Jan 2024, my company terminated my services, as I cannot do my duties as a field service technitian or any other job a my company I am cognative, I shake so much, I can't remember how to do my job that I did for 30 years. I can't remember how to get to client's I have been dealing with my consultant who tried his best to get answers I have sent the termination letter (boarding letter) to Liverty Since my previous review, on Hello peter I have still not received any answer 20 March Nandi Thobile promised me an answer within 24 hrs, I did not get any answer 27 March, I phoned again, I spoke to Bianca Mac Cay who said her manager will phone me, no phone call was received 28 March 2024 I phoed 4 times, I get told the person that must answer me is in meeting, I spoke to Pule Mahkangu, vwho would escalate my call and query. Still no answer, I phone later again and get to Selwyn James who promise to escalate my query via email to a manager. Still no answer. I phone again and speak to Biance NC Cay again, still no answer. I phone an hour later again, I speak to Selwyn again who promise that a Shevo will phone me at 14:00 It is 8 months now and Liberty has not finalized my disability claim yet.

I have got a life insurance with a build in disability policy. I have been declared disabled,, I have been sick and not working since July 2024. I have become cognative and it was discovered in July 2024, I have epilepsy since 2019, all applications was submitted for a disability claim, the even contacted other doctors to check my sick record every where, and also received disability approval letters from my works employer disability fund. But it was still not enough proof that I can't work any more. In the meantime, my company terminated my services due to incapacity and let me go. ILiberty wanted the termination boarding letter that I emailed to them on January as I was terminated in January 2024. Up to today I have had absolute no feedback of any sort, that the claim will be paid or rejected. My sickness is of such nature that I can't work, I am cognative and epileptic

I have a disability policy with ABSA, I fell sick and is on disability since July 2023, I completed loss of income papers. I app**** for the disability claim. The told me in Oct they are closing the case until they get a termination letter from my company, I have been terminated due to illness. I have send this to Absa, they have now handed me over to attorneys. I phoned Absa life yesterday, the lady says yes the do have all the papers, but my claim has not been reopened. Is this how they treat me, I am a customer of them since 1986. Even with the loss if income, debit order s tried to go off and due to no funds, my account went into arrears and Absa still took penalties for that aswell I need the Absa life to reopen my claims as I have submitted the termination letter now This is a bank that said they are always there for you
