Sometime in January I received a call from a lady working for Mathemagics. She said that a consultant would be sent out to pitch their programme, in which I have accepted. A guy named Quinton came to our place, we missed his WhatsApp call and he left the area. When we contacted him he was more than willing to come again on the same evening. This was just after 7. He pitched his programme very well and we ended up paying him a deposit and agreed to paying the balance off. When it came to setting up, he said that 3 devices can have the programme loaded onto it however, my son's device was flat at the time, so he installed it on my handset. We asked him to install it on our son's PC and he told the father that installation is easy and he can do it himself. So the interesting part is, we told him that we get home after 7 every evening from Mon-Sat. He knew that IF we are setting it up we'd need the help of customer care who only operates from Mon-Fri, 9-5. Conveniently we came to find this out whilst trying to install the programme. He didn't think to mention this to us. I contacted him and showed him the error message and asked if he could make time to install the programme as it was a few weeks later and my son hasn't used it, as when I get home after 7, which he also gets home at the time, he needs to bath, eat, pray and sleep. For 3 weeks I've been trying to get Quinton to install this programme and every week he has a better excuse. A deposit was paid and in addition 2 debits were deducted and my son still hasn't used this programme. So basically he got what he wanted which was his commission on selling the programme, he has absolutely NO after service and if he had done his job properly in the first place I wouldn't need him to return. He is aware that it is R7000 that's coming out of our pockets that obviously won't be refunded and 'apparently' it cannot be cancelled. But why should he care? As his not the one paying for it. I have never been this disgusted by a so called well known company representative. But after reading all these reviews, I can now say, I regret signing up for this.
