I purchased 2 x generators from Advanced utilities, I had to request from them to come and service my 1 x big generator which was part of their contract agreement, I waited +- 2 months for a technician to come out, the technician would not come out unless a deposit was paid which Advance Utilities had to cover, they refused to cover the deposit and I ended up having to pay for it, after Ashraf confirmed that they would reimburse me, I had to call and email them about 3 times reminding them to refund me. Then my other generator gave problems the two batteries was faulty, it took Advanced Utilities 2-3 weeks to attend to this problem, during that time I had to go and purchase 2 x new batteries, which did not solve the problem... so I had a downtime of almost a month now... This problem is STILL NOT SORTED ! I found out that Advanced Utilities don't have their own technicians they find technicians on Gumtree. During all this time we had downtime, losing production hours due to these problems, impacting on my delivery dates to my clients, both generators was still under the first year of warranty where Advanced Utilities was liable for a service and if anything goes wrong. I was told by Ashraf to forward our Invoice for the batteries and the my Invoice for the downtime loss of production which was only for one day.... we ended up being without the generator for weeks now. To date Advanced Utilities have not paid a cent towards those Invoices. This is the worst company you can deal with as they make promises and they do not follow thru, they are quick to make business and once they have your account, Customer service falls away, This company chases money and forgets about their clients.... Please watch out!
