I am beyond frustrated with the appalling treatment I’ve received from Sell-SA, and I feel it is my duty to inform other sellers and potential customers about the *****ulent practices I have encountered. I am a verified seller on Sell-SA and have been patiently waiting for a withdrawal of funds from my sales. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Sell-SA’s support team, my payment has still not been processed, even though their website falsely claims that withdrawals take 2-5 business days. It has been well beyond that timeframe, and their vague and evasive responses to my inquiries have left me with no confidence in this platform. Key Issues: Failure to Pay: I initiated my withdrawal on monday the 16th of September 2024, and to this day, despite numerous follow-ups, no payment has been made. Lack of Communication: Despite several emails, Sell-SA’s customer service has been completely unhelpful, providing nothing but generic responses without any real resolution or updates. False Advertising: Their website boasts transparent and secure payments, but this is clearly far from the truth. They are withholding funds without any legitimate reason. Possible Legal Action: I have initiated a formal complaint with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman and will be proceeding with legal action for ***** and theft under South African law. It is clear that Sell-SA is not trustworthy. They are withholding my money and providing no legitimate reason for doing so. This kind of treatment of sellers is not only ********* but potentially *******. As a business owner, I cannot stand by while Sell-SA continues to operate this way. I urge other sellers and potential buyers to stay far away from this platform. I will be taking further steps to expose their practices across all major media outlets and legal channels. If anyone else has had similar experiences, I encourage you to speak out. Together, we can hold Sell-SA accountable for their ********* and *****ulent behavior.
When Filling fuel & shopping at Engen Garage Umhlatuzana - Durban, always ask yourself, do you want inconvience in your life. After asking the attendant to fill Diesel, they fill petrol. I drive a few Km’s and the car switched off. Went back to the garage , but was greeted by unhappy, non compliant staff. They contacted the owner whos name is Nishal via telephone and Nishal was and is a very unpleasant being to deal with. They were still establishing whos at fault. I merely knocked and opened the office door after multiple knocks were ignored, and proceeded to ask if I should rather leave my details and you guys can call me with a solution as they have wasted 30 minutes of my time so far, they still have time for a staff meeting at my expense. Bare in mind, this is a boiling hot day and ive walked back to the garage. Nishal should be more concerned about sorting my vehicle out and leaving his little staff meeting for a later stage, cameras and slips prove the incorrect fuel was filled. Is anymore investigating required? I would think not. Nishal then reminds me that I need to keep my mouth shut while in his establishment and he will tell me how it works. I then reminded Nishal that I wont be spoken to like that and he can take his demeanor and shove it. I then walked out the establishment as I refuse to be spoken to like a piece of dirt when I can rain hell on his business. I left the garage and contacted Engen head office, who put me through to the area manager who was then able to get the ball rolling with Nishal. It seems Mr Nishal has big blue ***** when it suits him. After getting greased by superiors, he then authorises the vehicle to be sorted by the dealer, as per email and screenshots attached. Now that the vehicle is there, Mr Nishal additionally asks for a 10% discount for a cash payment. Knowing full well, he is not obligated to such, even for a cash payment at VW. I then call my good friends at VW and arranged a 10% discount for him. Since Monday the 18th at 9am, this invoice from VW was forwarded to the garage and Nishal. No payment has been made to VW and my vehicle sits at VW and cannot be released without payment. Mr Nishals spiteful ways and ******* tone of talking may get his face re-arranged by the wrong people. I urge anyone using this Engen garage to stay away, the owner is a nasty piece of work. We don’t need anymore people like this in our Country. Engen garage as a group and franchise should help Mr Nishal financially to pay up this invoice. It can only mean Mr Nishal has no funds available to pay up as more than sufficient time was provided. Mr Nishal has a vulgar mouth and needs to be washed with chillies, someone may wash it for him one day. I still would like the opportunity to meet with Mr Nishal to see how a big mouth carries on in person. A meetup with Nishal is being arranged where I will have a chance to confront him face to face regarding this matter and the mouth he had on the phone with me. At the end of the day, your establishment made a mistake, your duty is to keep quiet and apologise, the customer is right this time, so rightfully, your tail should be between your legs, listening and taking notes like a good boy. You do not tell a customer to shut up and listen to you when you employ workers of the street to fill fuel in customers vehicles. According to 3 staff members I met with privately over the weekend, they confirm mr Nishal is abusive in the workplace throwing vulgar words at employees when there is a mistake. The staff are unable to speak to their boss, I thankfully am no staff.. I will have Mr Nishal longing for this matter to go away. I appeal to nishals family and friends to please come through and assist the man in sorting out his priorities and debts. Nishal seems to have inherited this garage from his father, a elderly chap who is quite the opposite of Nishal. Nishal is in no position to handle customer queries or to oversee that garage. Nishals family also own the bottle store next to crazy 8 in malvern. So im finding it hard to believe Mr Nishal has financial issues. Whilst he certainly has operational issues and has a lot to learn from his father, still. Please do not support this garage, today its me, tomorrow it is you. Stay clear of this establishment and its owner.
Great service from Tech Tavern. My PC was collected, repaired & delivered the same day. Service advisors are a pleasure to deal with and purchased a laptop on their website which arrived in two days. Much faster than takealot. I am very impressed.
Unfortunately, I will need to end my time with Paystack and have dedicated my day in getting a new payment provider for my website. Almost every payment received on Paystack was scrutinized. There has not been a single payment ive received which flowed flawlessly with Paystack. You, so far, are the only merchants who conduct these checks at the expense of your customers and my customers. There is no phone call about the holding back of payments for a review, you just hold back the payment until the merchant logs in and contacts support. This is unacceptable. Kindly close my account with Paystack on the 16th March 2024 and have my personal information removed and cleared off your system. I am legally allowed to ask such and you are obligated to follow these instructions of deleting any personal data of mines. My business cannot run the way Paystack does, We do not run a mickey mouse operation here. This was by far, the worst experience from a payment provider that I experienced in my life, this is probably why most SA businesses stay away from you. Its shocking to believe you subject businesses around the world for these reviews and hold back their payments and the customers orders essentially. This is unacceptable, Your review processes are tiring and downright inconvienient, please continue your business with other merchants, not with me! A few months ago, you did the same thing and I have made it very clear and promised Paystack that I will leave when this happens again. The lady at Paystack mentioned this wont happen again. Now that it has happened, its time for me to be a man of my word. Paystack has been removed from our website as a payment provider this morning and we will never return to this horrible payment provider, I will be leaving numerous reviews on different platforms regarding my genuine representation of the experience received.
