I ordered 3 kits from Vintage Joint, buy 3 and get the cheapest one free. I selected a wrong size for one of the kits. I emailed them, SMSd and DMd them on instagram. After about two days they rep**** on instagram to say the size was updated. I do feel they should note their turnaround time for queries somewhere on the website or bios of the socials to manage expectations. Their delivery timeline is 10-15 days according to them. When the delivery didnt come in that time and they were not responding to my queries about the order, i got a bit concerned. The reviews here didnt help. My order arrived in about 17-18 days. Which, i gotta admit, is around the time i expected it (±20 days). The kits were in good condition, the size was updated. I wanted a number printed on one of the kits and they got the number wrong, but not too much of a train smash. Hopefully I can update this review after first was of all the kits So overall, a mix bag, but im glad i got the kits.
I go on the FNB app (22-08-2024). I renew my licence disc via the nav-car platform. They take the money the transaction is complete, I should get my disc within 14 days. I go to check the status a day or two later and it says "Refund". The process failed somewhere and I am to be refunded, thats fine. I wait an entire month, when checking on the app, the transaction is missing on the nav-car platform (But still there under transactions to show the money is gone). I call them, they send me a refund form to fill (02-10-2024). I fill in the form and send it to the stated email address. They email me asking for further information, which I provide. I then get a call, the lady asks for more information on the transaction, I offer it, we get off the call. Minutes after that, I get an email saying they do not perform refunds on transactions done via the nav-car platform and I should call the service desk (0875759404). I call the service desk, I go through all the prompts, the phone rings for a few minutes. Someone seems to answer, as it stops ringing, but the call then goes quiet until I hang up after a few minutes of silence. We continue tomorrow trying to get our money back
Julius Mabusela. This man gave an amazing service. We had issues in the morning finding out the car was reserved instead. Through ultimate patience and professionalism I got another very good vehicle. 5/5
