I had high expectations for Milkwood Manor Hotel, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of what a 4-star establishment should offer. Firstly, the restaurant was inexplicably closed during my stay. A key reason for choosing a hotel with a restaurant is the convenience of dining on-site. The lack of this essential service was not communicated beforehand, which left me scrambling for alternatives. Secondly, the room lacked basic amenities. There were not enough towels provided, which is an inexcusable oversight for a supposedly premium hotel. Guests shouldn’t have to request something as standard as towels – these should be readily available. On top of this, there was virtually no service to speak of. Staff were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to guests' needs. Simple requests went unanswered, and there was a general lack of attentiveness throughout my stay. While the property itself may look appealing at first glance, the poor management and lack of services significantly diminish its value. Milkwood Manor is far from deserving of its 4-star rating, and I cannot recommend it to anyone expecting even a basic level of comfort and service.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unsatisfactory handling of my client Rushane Fotuin's account and the inadequate response to a ***** investigation which has resulted in the account being blocked for a duration of seven days, despite being initially informed that the investigation would take only eight hours. On the 5th of June 2024, my client was informed that her account was temporarily blocked due to a ***** complaint lodged against her. He promptly submitted all the required documentation as requested by Capitec Bank to aid in the investigation. Furthermore, she engaged an attorney to assist in this matter, and we have collectively sent over fifty emails to various representatives at your bank in an effort to resolve this issue expeditiously. It is crucial to emphasize that the allegations of ***** are unfounded, as my client has demonstrated through the submission of all pertinent documents. He has even gone to the extent of attempting to settle with the complainant by offering to repay the claimed amount, despite not acknowledging any wrongdoing, in the interest of swiftly resolving this issue and regaining access to his account. To our utter dismay, my client's account remains blocked, and he has not received any adequate explanation or notification regarding the ongoing status of this investigation. This lack of communication and resolution from Capitec Bank is not only deeply frustrating but also financially debilitating, as my client has been unable to access her funds for an entire week. See attached the trial emails sent as well as the affidavit and WhatsApp messages in support sent to Capitec Bank. The handling of this situation by Capitec Bank has been exceptionally poor, causing my client significant distress and inconvenience. We expect a bank of your repute to handle such matters with the utmost urgency and professionalism. Instead, my client has been left in a state of uncer*****y and financial paralysis, unable to manage his daily expenses and obligations. Given the gravity of this situation, we demand immediate action to unblock the account and a thorough explanation of the delays and procedural failures that have occurred. Additionally, we request a formal apology for the undue stress and inconvenience caused by your bank's handling of this matter. We trust that this complaint will be taken seriously and that prompt action will be taken to rectify the situation. Should there be any further delay or lack of resolution, we will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the relevant banking ombudsman and regulatory authorities.
