Stay away from Webuycars.....all good when you sign the dotted line but when that vehicle breaks down within 4 months of the 6 month warranty, you will beg and plead but will fall on deaf ears at branch level and head office. They delay the cancelation so much that your next installment to the finance company comes off you bank account and for that too you have to beg and plead for the refund...which I don't have a hint of when it van be expected.to be back in bank account! Because they don't communicate!! It has been the most frustrating 6 weeks of my life...my hijacking was a walk in the park compared to the frustration and stress levels I had dealing with them. DO NOT buy from them....if your car under finance breaks down you will be stranded, you will loose other vehicles you apply for at other car dealers cause they take their sweet time to cancel the deal and settle the finance...ask me...it's been an ongoing battle for 6 weeks....you can phone you can email....nobody gets back to you...oh...and your concern (my reference #53610) you have to log on their website cause they cant face the music, the robots must do the job....yeah, that means nothing....still got me nowhere....woman living alone 6km from town, stranded for 6 weeks with no transport...Webuycars owes me a refund...and inwant that money back....I paid for 2 months for a car I did not have the privilegeof driving! Car broke down 31 Jan 2024...car was only collected 21 Feb-2024....05 Mar-2024 they have not settled the finance....see why you can't buy another car while you wait for them? Quick to take the money but they just don't care about you after that. Why would want to support a company like that? Stay away from them! Oh and Webuycars. .don't even bother with your generic apology that will.come as a reply to this message....look at my review dated 28 Feb.....got the generic apology but no action....see what i mean about their customer service... From a very patient, which had now un out, but HIGHLY dissatisfied, HIGHLY frustrated woman you are underestimating and taking advantage of.
Wow...what different experience! I showed interest online the saturday on a vehicle on the website at Sydenham branch , a sales executive, Zuko Swelini phoned me and emailed me the finance application immediately. Monday morning first thing by 8am I emailed my application form back and by 11am Monday morning my finance was approved! The F&I l, Christensen was so quick and even tried to get me a lower interest rate, but the bank would not, BUT King Cars has been kind enough to wave the carrier fee from PE to CT for me. Zuko and Christelle are an asset to this company! If it was not for WeBuyCars who has taken 6weeks so far to cancel a finance deal on the BMW that broke down with serious mechanical issues 4 months into my 6 month warranty, I would probably have this vehicle by the end of the week. Thank you Zulo and Christensen at King Cars Sydenham for restoring my faith and trust in car dealerships after the stressful and highly frustrating experience I have had with WeBuyCars!
My concern ref # 53610 Sen on 20-Feb-2024. It seems consumers get the after sale service we are entitled once.we complain/review on HelloPeter....I am hoping this will be escalated to someone besides the person who is not responding to my emails, Meghan Springher. I took possession of 2013 BMW 1 series F20 eith 143 000km on the odometer on 19 Sep 2023. On 31 Jan-2024, after I did 1756km, the vehicle went into limp.mode and oil was leaking same place I finance for it to be fixed by one of your approved workshops. Timeline of getting Webuycars to attend to a financed vehicle still under 6 month warranty broken down as follows: *31/01/2024-Reported breakdown of vehicle to salesperson who told me the next day to contact the sales manager *31/01/2024-No response from WBV, I took the vehicle to an RMI approved workshop who informed me I cannot drive the vehicle and he will.contact WBC and send quote to do diagnostics, investigate drive train error and find oil leak. *07/02/2024- Received proof of payment just before close of business for workshop to investigate vehicle issues *09/02/2024-I got my vehicle back from the workshop informing me if I drive it, it will very serious damage and it should be parked. *14/02024- WBC received the report in mechanical issues for the BMW from the workshop. The sales manager phoned and told me they will cancel the finance deal but I have to buy another car from them. I thought I was entitled to either repair, replacement or refund....not you must buy another vehicle?? I felt bul**** into buying other vehicle and started looking and found a Nissan Juke, which I cancelled after being approved due to loaded costs on vehicle-from Purchase price of R106900 to R150200 to be financed!!! Cancelled that deal *20/02/2024-Tow truck driver was informed to collect BMW.from me *21/02/2024- Vehicle was collected at 07:30am from me in Kleinbaai and arrived at Brackenfell branch approx 11am same day *28/02/2024-Finance company informed me WBC requested settlement quote and was emailed to them. WBC have until 09/03/2024 to settle. Question to WBC..how long will it take for you to settle the finance, it has been 4 weeks just to get to this point which I find ridiculous...never in my life have i felt like a beggar, I am entitled to your after sale customer service...in the meantime I had to pay another installment to the finance company on 26/02/2024 when you were already in possession of the under warranty broken down vehicle.for almost a week....I would appreciate a refund please, cause it's seems like each task took a week, did you delay this on purpose todrop the settlement? Whatever the season for you taking 4 weeks to cancel a finance deal for a broken down vehicle under warranty, I find it very unfair and very unprofessional. What happens to the5 x installments i paid Oct-2023 to Feb-2024....the insurance payments on the vehicle? I am unable to get another vehicle financed until this BMW had been settled and off my name, I am a woman living on my own stranded 6km from the nearest shop, no family and no means of transport, but shuttling which costs me after I have paid for a car which you have in your possession after you fetched it? Please can you attend to this as a matter.if urgency as my emails and phone calls to Head Office and Branch level are.falling on deaf ears.
