<p>Ster-Kinekor has made habit of switching on the lights during the credits and sometimes during the last 5-10 minutes of the movie so that the cleaners can come in sooner.</p> <p> </p> <p>Many movies include special effects or hidden scenes in the credits but we are denied seeing these. We pay for the entire movie. The credits are part of that.</p> <p> </p> <p>If we do not leave when the first lights go on during credits, they put on the brighter lights - the ones that hurt your eyes if they suddenly go on and you're wearing 3D glasses in a dark cinema, and you can't see anything on the screen anymore.</p> <p> </p> <p>This has happened every single time I have seen a movie since January 2016 and has happened in the Prestige Cinema as well, in several cinemas but especially Sandton City.</p> <p> </p> <p>I tried complaining to a staff member after they did this at the premier of Captain America Civil War Prestige Lounge and he would not apologise and said but the movie was over. No, credits are part of the movie and we're entitled to watch that, and it's a Marvel movie - there's always end credits scenes.</p> <p> </p> <p>To add to that, we often are only allowed to enter cinema (including Prestige) after trailers have begun as cleaners run late and we have to watch with lights still on. This needs better management, if there is not enough time between movies for cleaners to do their jobs. Again, we pay for the entire experience - trailers are a part of that . They are also ripping off the marketers of the movies whose trailers are being shown.</p> <p> </p> <p>I won't even start on the state of the bathrooms.</p> <p> </p> <p>We watch movies very often at Ster-Kinekor but they make every visit unpleasant and frustrating and leave us and the others in the cinema angry.</p> <p> </p> <p>We will only go to Nu Metro from now on.</p>

Many South African restaurants and fast food establishments treat customers poorly because they get away with it. We ordered burgers from Bella Pizza in Lakeside today. After waiting 2 hours we called to ask where our food was and they said they had been at our house but when they called to be let in, the cell number I gave (that I've had for almost a decade) doesn't exist. They then came back and gave us the same 2.5 hour old soggy slimy mushy food that had clearly been sitting around. I called to ask for their email address to send pics of the food, but the owner said they have no email address. So I told him politely that as a regular customer I was disappointed by the quality, and he proceeded to blame me, becoming aggressive and rude including saying they \can't remake food every time a customer doesn't answer their phone". When I suggested it was likely he had taken down the number incorrectly"
