I was involved in a slight accident in early February of 2024, I claimed with my insurance which is discovery insure, I took my car for assessment which was not badly damaged, then they confirmed that only few parts need to be replaced which cannot be difficult for a panel beater to retrieve. I waited an entire month or more for the panel beater to contact me so that I can take my car to fix which can only take a single day or two to be fixed. They finally contacted me or should I say I followed up and took my car on the 8th of April 2024, they then told me it will take 14 working days for my car to be fixed which seemed like a lot for a small portion of the car and replacing parts which are already there. So I waited until 14 working days was due and I never received any update, the only time I get updated is when I do my own follow ups, spending money on airtime by calling them coz they never really get back to me as they promised. They seem to be dishonest about their updates which happens only when I call them... Because 2 different people tell different stories. I'm on the 5th week going to 6th still waiting for my car and update because everyday and every week is a different story they keep telling me that they waiting for parts which I thought they received before I took my car to them. I feel like my current insurer is not of any assistance because I'm also struggling getting to and from work. In future I cannot recommend ESP Body repairs to anyone because they seem to be dishonest and they also refuse for me to see my car which I pay every month.
